1.5 ltr petrol engine will attract additional cess of 22% apart from 28% GST which will increase the tax on car by atleast 1 lakh. That's is why none of the sub 4m car will have 1.5 litre petrol engine apart from Brezza.

Sir, my personal opinion is that sunroof is an over-hyped feature for any car. I personally consider it as a safety risk and a liability. Kids wanting to peak their heads out, and objects falling over the roof can seriously damage it. Instead, I would give more emphasis on features like driver's armrest (with a storage beneath it), rear AC vents, adjustable seat belts, tyre pressure monitor, and adjustable headrests (front and rear). Also, for an automatic car, creep function and hill holding are necessary. I think most car manufacturers are failing to read the real necessities and concentrating on cosmetic features like sunroof and wireless chargers. I agree to some extent that sunroof gives a sense of spaciousness with light and also wireless charging is convenient. However, necessities should come first. Would like to hear your opinion as well. Also, I wish Citroen C3 had introduced an automatic mated to its turbo petrol! I am sure they have something in store. Please let me know if you have anything with regards to it. Thank you!

Dear Asir Bro, Glad that you’ve highlighted excellent point which I feel always missing 1.5L engine but however is hyundai wanted to keep price under the carpet due to 1.2L? I own 1.2L S Plus still don’t have alloy wheels and as you said DCT is missing. Facelift is really disappointing rear seat legroom. But, I’m not very much concerned about rear look. Kia and Hyundai CEO are same being sister organisation, it is a smart move by Hyundai management to take more consumers with Kia Korean presence they realise with Hyundai brand cannot pull more customers like we see for seltos, sonet and Carens are flight hit. Good one, hope Hyundai will consider our points. Final touch is 1.2L top version S Plus still hold R15 inch wheels instead R16

Dear MW Team, I agree to the fact that Venue look is little over done, rear light resembles Taigun and should have 4cylinder N.A engine with many variants. In Citroen C3, they can provide movable headrests, alloy wheels, rear wiper and defogger at least in top variant.

My first impression not happy with the Citroen front seat fixed headrest. I heard it doesn't have auto speed sense door lock, electronic adjustable ORVM, No tachometer, no Manual IRVM. All these doesn't cost more than ~20K. I'm thinking like In which planet these guys are from...? But if it is priced correctly then it could be a hit to Citroen.

Nexon oda confusion eh,, Dark Edition la nariyo maatram irukku... body grey line removed in 2022 Apr model.... full piano black exterior and interior letherette difference irukku within its own Dark XZ, H, O/P ... .. naan vangina modela got refund for accessories dealer ke therila interior enna irukku nu.. dealer oh nammalo interior panna velai illai, manufacturing la ye fitting varudu complete ah... between Nexon Dark, KZ edition samma confusion esp on interior features.. brochure vera illai.

From the other reviews Citroen C3 has good driving dynamics and excellent handling, but they have missed in the features, can it replace polo's position as fun to drive cars which also lacked some basic features?

The reason they missed is because they wanted to do something different, they don't want to be as same as a wagon R, as we all know wagonR with it's weak body and riding dynamics you can't take it to the highways, so citroen by giving you the basics, and giving you a turbo for 7.5 lakhs, and with 56 customisations you get a car which will be liked by the buyers who see it as a car with good ride and handling, where a guy like me whose father owns a rapid and I have a an estilo for me as a highway rider am ready to overlook the some of the missed features

@@Raveendhana Reason is not to do different. Rather, they put their cost on engine and dynamics engineering. I did check the citroen c3, though it offers a great engine and ride quality, it lacks the basic necessities like Instrument console, ORVM, Power windows, rear defogger, reverse camera. others could be added later. but these things should have been given. It was a sore to be in the cabin looking at the instrument console. Turbo starts at 8-8.5 L If you add alloys add 50-60K Optional packages 50-60K Accessories 30K Around 9.5-10L, not VFM. It enters a wide segment from Altroz Baleno i20 magnite kiger to nexon venue sonet May be, citroen is aiming at buyers like you Most people who were present got confused as to understand the packages customisations and what vfm it offers.

For C3, no automatic as of now, in my observation. Professional reviews are out today. Was eagerly waiting for this little gem, but, since there was no launch timeline for this until recently, by God's clear guidance, without taking any other test drive, went for Kushaq Active Peace variant at the unexpected compelling price of Rs.9.99 lakhs ex showroom. Still, hope this is going to be a very interesting product in this segment, as I have experienced and amazed at the uniquely pliant ride quality of many Peugeot cars in Africa and Premier 138D in India, which was having the badge, Peugeot-PAL India, in the engine bay, many years back. Now, in India, brand Citroen is from Groupe PSA (Peugeot S.A.). This too is raising the level of interest in this product. Your discussions are immensely informative, backed by your rational data banks. Highly laudable! 👌👌👌 Keep it up!!

Venue face-lift. 1) why 1.2 insted of 1.5 Venue is based on the grand i10 platform it's also the reason for narrow interior. 1.5 means no sub4m benefits. It's targeted on i20 customer who want ground clearance many venue/creta customers come from i10/i20/santro. In fact i20 low sales is caused due to venue than baleno. 2) customer who demand 1.5 are easily pulled to verna. 3) why brezza/nexon is bigger. Reason is tax. Sub4m rule says car has to be under 1.2petrol and 1.5for diesel. Brezza was designed as an diesel car initially now with the 1.5petrol they are not enjoying the tax benefits so they may simply extend to 4.2. Brezza is based on s-cross platform not heartec. While nexon is based on indica vista it explains the space inside.

Citron c3 1) This is clearly planned to undercut magnite and kiger above kwid spresso 2) they are lacking features even less than second base XV magnite it maybe priced less than it. 3) this car may not be affected with chip shortage. 4) naa etha vaenalum vitruvaen 1.0 turbo la kuda no tachometer is injustice. 5) cheapest turbocharged car I think in value of price to performance will be selling point. 6) they are making engines in hosur Seperately going by citron is part of FCA/Stelantis so this engine maybe seen in more cars in future.

Sir, I am Ramesh Padmanabhan. I am a ardent follower of Motowagon and Birlas Parvai. Your opinion about Citroen C3 is bit confusing. It is a 3 cylinder engine. You are not a big supporter of 3 cylinder engine. But your opinion about Citroen C3 is altogether different. In my opinion engine definitely not good for a long ride. Might be good for a city ride. If I am wrong please correct me. Please don't feel I am bit harsh.

First of all three cylinder by design is a gruff engine and it's unbalanced, they add balancer Shaft etc to minimise the vibration, now all the companies produce the three cylinder engine for cost saving, and traditionally three reliability has been a concern, but in today's world regarding to price point nobody will give you a 85/110ps of power for that starting price of 6lakhs, if someone is going to offer you a turbo 110ps for 7.5 lakhs will you take it?, I will so in general the car might not do a 8year, but with the latest technology it might do a 5 years atleast. So it's all about compromise, if you think the turbo might be bad then you have a non turbo,

I have a estilo and I mostly drive aggressive, I shift based on engine noise and performance, so I never see the tachometer

@@Raveendhana I also own and ride Zen Estilo. For NA engines, Tachometer is good to have info. Not must. For Turbo it's much necessary though

But another thing is even when I drive my father's 1.6 tdi, all I feel is the turbo kick in but never see the tacho, but one thing is rapid has a shift indicator so I combine the engine noise and gear indicator

I waited for this car for more than 10 months to gift to my wifey..disappointed that they don't have an AMT. Anyway, I think the engine and the engineering must be good though the features set does not look pampering like how the Korean companies are doing...
