Ciaz is undoubtedly India's first choice and gives the best value for money. Verna offers too many features which makes it seem better on paper but real world comparision takes ciaz to another level. Its way better, it does not offer too many features but offers a great performance.

Although there might be a few features more in Verna like sunroof but it's relatively lot easier to live with ciaz because you realise only after you buy that the service and low fuel efficiency are pain in the ass for verna, and also ciaz is offering SHVS technology which adds up to the price of the car and more useful than a fancy sunroof.

Suzuki Ciaz is better! People sit inside and when it’s long drives, more sitting space, leg room and head clearance which is better in Ciaz.. Fuel efficiency is also better in Ciaz. Ciaz is better than Verna!

I had the previous Gen Diesel Verna and i have never driven such a Refined Diesel engine in this segment!!!! Absolutely loved it. Am sure Thie verna take the torch ahead with added features. This was a very nice explanation video. All the right details. Good one mate.

All details about CIAZ:- 1. Hybrid - Maruti fools the ppl, Hybrid means battery operation simultaneously, its not hybrid rather its a clutch start-stop hired from Mahindra. 2. Sports Engine - Laughingstock, 1.5L or 1.3L both are dumbest engine compared to Verna's 1.6L(128bhp). So, Verna is much more sportier, 3. Maintainance - Verna -2.5/- per KM, Ciaz - 3.2/- Per Km. 5. Mileage - Yah Ciaz is better in mileage tht too its just because smaller engine and low performance low on BHP. 6 Interior - Verna interior is far better then Ciaz, its black and beige with soft touch leather uphosltery. Conclusion - VERNA IS THE WINNER

Very true.. im 6 feet 5 inches tall and ciaz is the only car in which i can comfortable sit in all the 4 seats. Yes i tried verna, the drivers seat has good leg space but then no one can sit behind me. Yes ciaz is underpowered which is annoying at times but the seats are higher which makes getting and out easier for tall people like me and boy it is a whole 2 Lakhs cheaper than verna and saves a lot on fuel as well. Verna is amazing to drive and sit but i prefer ciaz for its space and high seats

naman bhalla its coz price of ciaz is much lower than city or verna.. top end of ciaz petrol comes in just 11 lacs whereas for verna and city u have to go apprx 14 lacs. also ppl blindly go for maruti in india.

Good explanation, awesome job! Verna is any day better than Ciaz in both Petrol and Diesel. Also you forgot to mention about build quality where Verna uses a high strength steel and possess a better build than Ciaz! Also I think top end Verna provides sunroof and anti pinch safety for Windows.

Very nice comparison. And I wonder why people keep always complaining about maruti cars saying that they are not robust. I want to say ,leave aside Verna , people meeting with accident even un BMW and Audi are not entirely . If u don't believe me, just glance through some news items, u will know that high speed killed the people inside these cars as well.
