Doesn't buy any of the automobile products shown in the videos but still loves watching the videos. Not sure whether I am a KZfaq addict or Automobile Enthusiast. But for sure I am a part of #PowerdriftArmy.

Review aside, what I LOVE about the powerdrift videos is the camera, the slow-mo shots, close angles etc. Watching the videos are eye-candy. This video was fantabulous. Yes, I got the gyan on the vehicle too.

This is Excellent CAR and Good All Rounder. If You want Comfort, There is nothing like xcent.

i so totally agree with you when you said that when you order for a Uber/OLA cab, you secretly hope its an Xcent. Pretty much the same here. For back seat passenger, its a very comfy car. When i say comfortable i mean it soaks up the bumps pretty well. Swift Dzire is 2 points down on that matter. When you live in a city like mumbai where roads are riddled with pot holes and you might be suffering from some condition that demands to have such a car, its a boon. The Trim Quality on Hyundai cars is exceptionally well. My 2012 Facelift i20 still feels fresh even today. Its 4 years since i have got it. Yes i agree that they should give ABS and EBD as an option on the base cars. That would be Icing on a cake. A yummilicious cake that is.

u guys make our day starts with smthing refreshing i.e. a powerdrift video..the automobile companies shoul hire u guys to make the adds coz no one can do it better...xcent is ohk ohk type.....bt Glen and pd are fantabulous

We have the first generation Xcent and I learnt to drive in it.... it's still one of the best cars I've driven till now

While it is true, this is the most plush and luxurious riding car. But that makes the drive numb, like all other Hyundais. A no-go forme.

OWNERSHIP REVIEW: I own a xcent diesel S . It has been 3 years since I have bought hyundai xcent and have gone 30,000km. I am from Hyderabad and I have been to Rajasthan, Delhi, Assam and many more places in this car. Till today I haven't faced a single problem in this car. And the service cost is also quite cheap. Excellent car guys. U can go for it. No engine problems and vibrations at all . Hope this review was useful for u. don't forget to like the comment if u liked it....

Good, crisp review. I liked your pointing out the absence of safety features in the lower models of a family car. I also enjoyed the part where you drive without commentary and let viewers enjoy the car moving on the road. I love the Hyunda Xccent (one should go for the SX variant to get all features), though it is Rs. 50k more expensive than Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2017, which comes with all the safety features but is not so good-looking as the Xcent, in my opinion.

Does it has the better ride nd handling package than the dezire?

I have a Hyundai Xcent SX (O) 2014 model (the 1st Generation). I had high expectations from the update. Now Hyundai have made the rear a bit more acceptable than before. But as you mentioned Glen, the front end doesn't quite blend in. The grille looks a bit like an aftermarket fitment just that fit and finish is factory level. The front fog lamp housing looks to close to the Elite i20. Which isn't particularly a bad thing but a we could've down with a more original look. Safety features should've been provided more generously. It would have been nice to see an update on the instrument cluster. It does miss out on a full MID, which the rivals get. Nevertheless I love my Xcent and I feel the 2017 facelift does justice to the outgoing model. #PDArmy

There are many complains about the gear shift problems occuring in this car,so has Hyundai dealt with that problem yet?

I want to upgrade from my small hatchback with 1.0 L petrol engine to a Compact Sedan car with 1.2 L petrol engine. Budget is 6-7 lakh. Good looking exteriors, good quality interiors, safety features like Air bags, ABS, EBD, Power windows, Parking sensors, reverse camera, better build quality, better handling and decent ride are my requirements. I prefer the car which is not very common in Indian roads. Frankly speaking, none of the Maruti Cars impress me. So, Dzire is out of choice. The cars which I have shortlisted Ford Aspire 1.2 Titanium and Hyundai Xcent SX. Ford Aspire is the car which I liked most. Concerns are lack of reverse parking camera in it and the poor service network and after sales services of Ford. Hyundai Xcent SX is appears to be a good package. It meets all my requirements. But its handling, very light steering and lower ground clearance are my concerns. Can you help me here?

Nice review. Loved your energy in the video. You said Xcent has 'ABS & EBD'. But from their spec sheet I could see only ABS, & EBD is not mentioned anywhere. can you confirm on that this car has EBD too. Also if it has only ABS & not EBD, how much it will effect the braking performance, if we are paying 8.5L on road price for this, shouldn't Hyundai be providing EBD too.

Kindly let us know the AC performance as you would have driven for longer distance. My brother had the 2014 model and the AC is very bad... also read on many websites about less than satisfactory cooling in Previous xcent. So is there any improvement??

Dear Glen good review. please help me decide to buy car for my elderly parents. confused between Dzire , xcent and amaze. priorities being easy ingress and egress, comfortable back seat and better ground clearance, as roads here are pathetic. please opine. I am open to suggestion for any other car with OTR 10lac.

Do xcent petrol SX have AC issue.It is very weak as compared to my earlier i10..they have given rear ac vent but it is of no use..Also do event SX have headrest for driver seat..

This (xcent e plus) or i20 elite magna. At first, it looks like a simple question but the issue is that the company don't recommend installing CNG on i20 but on the other hand it is recommended on the xcent. What should i do? petrol prices are pretty high as compared to CNG. I love the looks of i20 but also the praticality and boot space of the xcent. Please suggest me something.

Safety is the only concern with lower trims.Hyundai needs to take the standard higher.Suzuki,Ford are my choice for the time.

I feel your conversation is excellent discribing about all the features. I feel the price range of xcent, amaze , aspire and swift dezire is almost same but each got speaciality in market. Swift dezire : elegant look and high resale value but intially its expensive Ford aspire: high end safety but spares are costly Amaze: comfortness but maintanence or spares are costly Xcent: reliable with quality but spares are costly. Tigor: inexpensive sedan car but trust is a question. The information is based on my survey

Hyundai can never figure out big grilles, anyone remember the first generation elantra or the first gen verna (the egg shape lamps) I like the rear of the car and it's also have a very cool electric blue shade which I think is exclusive to xcent
