Begins up on I-270 near Damascus, MD and travels down to the Beltway into Virginia, ending at I-66W in Fairfax.

@gameboy9 With Baltimore, Jim has pretty much done every interstate highway in the city. What I would do is do something that's on the same highway but going the opposite direction or maybe do different highway combos. Jim has traditionally approached Baltimore from the south, you could come into the city approaching from the north. Also, Harrisburg, PA has an interesting highway system too.

@trashdunka99 When they finished this in 1989, the traffic levels they projected for this highway in 2010 were exceeded in 1999. Pretty incredible. If you ask me, the next thing they need to do is widen it all the way to Frederick so that it's at least 6 lanes across.

I wonder if anybody has a web page of videos done of roads in each state(with you and Freeway Jim, etc.)... I'm going to get into the freeway/highway filming "business"(I'm in S. Central PA, so I would be going into Baltimore, MD...) and I don't want to do roads that have already been completed... and KZfaq searching won't always be the most optimal idea I'm sure... thanks for all you do. :)

You know one interesting thing to point out in this video is that even though that I-270 in Maryland has a very large highway capacity the traffic is still downright atrocious through there. About as bad as anything on the Virginia side.

A lot of people moved to Frederick and I-270 to there is only four lanes. The choke point is when six lanes narrows to just four in Clarksburg.

@gameboy9 Oh... hold the phone there... didn't know Sony Vegas had restrictions on how fast you could speed up a video. I had seen screwedupclick's and it looked very easy to use. Let me ask him about that one.

@VaFreeways Ah OK - I think filming Harrisburg is a good first step... probably a full lap around the Capital Beltway... US 15... etc. I'm also planning on doing scenic roads (like Falls Road in Baltimore County) and a good chunk of the Lincoln Highway, so we'll see how it all pans out. Thanks for the suggestions. :)

@gameboy9: You may want to avoid Adobe Elements; there have been a ton of issues with the newest release. In fact, it's only received 1 out of 5 stars on amazon's website, with a long line of complaints from users complaining of crashes and too many glitches.

@gameboy9 Also, make sure you do some research on cameras before you buy anything. For editing software, I would reccomend Sony Vegas if you have a pc and obviously Final Cut Express if you're using a Mac. In addition, make sure your pc/mac is properly configured to handle editing HD video (ie. max out the RAM). These are some things I learned the hard way.

I'm Arthur Bhutic. Intersecting rail 🚈 road tracks must rise above ground level! With I-270. Roads overpassing must depress to grade level, and 270 overpasses! Underpasses rise to grade level, and the intersection and parallel feeder rds, depress below grade level! The HOV Ln sinks underground 🚇 being concrete and reversible, to avoid taking up ☝ any space! While be reversible up ☝ to Gaithersburg! The express lns sinks underground being concrete, to avoid taking up ☝ any space! There'll be intersecting rds that'll be wide median rds and express rds with parallel below grade level feeder rds! At an interchange in Gaithersburg that'll be a future outer beltway, one rd at grade level and the other overpasses! The interchange ramps fly over! Feeder rds of both intersect each other underground 🚇! Must construct complete concrete, curbs, and sewer feeder rds! Exit ramps after intersections and entrance ramps before intersections! That's to take backed up ☝ traffic out of the main rd for good and onto the feeder rds! Feeder rds at below grade level rds and express rds, depress below grade level! Sides of the feeder rds that's developed, get sidewalks not close to the rd! At intersections, be sidewalk ramps! At the beginning just be widened with complete concrete, curbs, and sewer feeder rds and an underground 🚇 HOV Ln! The main rd be replaced by concrete! While when into Gaithersburg, starts being motor vehicle control safety chips in the pavement! That's for new vehicles with motor vehicle control safety monitors to be regulated for good 👍! By that, the dependence of the steering wheel is minimized for good 👍! By that, forget a Driver's License! However, a Driver's Permit needed to be on the main rd, express rd lns, and the HOV Ln! While when into Rockville: Will be computer chips in the pavement for vehicles with joysticks 🕹 to run on the rd; By that, forget a Driver's License! However, need a Driver's Permit to be on the main rd, express rd lns, and HOV Ln! While be a lane on the sides with barriers for mini vehicles and bicycles! Bicycles to be on the lane on the main rd or express rd lns, must be gas or electric! I-270 must extend into Washington, D.C. being concrete! No 👎 more need to get on 495 to reach I-66 to reach Washington, D.C.! When at the last intersection before 495, be an exit ramp to the 495 Feeder Rds to start before that last intersection, overpassing an entrance ramp before that intersection, and end after that intersection! While be an elevated interchange ramp to 495 starting from that intersection! Be tall light poles! There be an island median with trees 🌳! With the interchange of I-270 and I-495. One rd at grade level and the other overpasses! Feeder rds of both rds intersect each other underground 🚇! With I-495. Buildings must rise above ground level to make way for expansion! Roads overpassing must depress to grade level, and 495 overpasses! The underpasses rise to grade level, and the intersections and parallel feeder rds depress below grade level! There'll be roads intersecting that'll be wide mdn rds and express rds with parallel below grade level feeder rds! The HOV Ln sinks underground 🚇 and be reversible! There be complete concrete, curbs, and sewer feeder rds! Then exit ramps after intersections and entrance ramps before intersections! Developed sides get sidewalks! Sidewalk ramps at intersections! There be concrete hike 🚶 and bike 🚲 trails on both sides of the Potomac River running under bridges 🌉! There be a concrete underground 🚇 express! Underpasses rise to grade level, while that intersection and parallel feeder rds depress below grade level! Must be complete concrete feeder rds! Then exits after intersections and entrances before intersections! Developed sides get sidewalks! At intersections be sidewalk ramps! @FreewayBrent Yeah, I remember seeing something about that. I wonder if the patch will help though. Granted, I would rather get Elements 7 instead... as I hear that has a lot less issues. A website would be a great idea... I have PHP/MySQL knowledge if you would like some assistance. I wonder if we could make a Google Map of all of the recorded freeway routes...

@gameboy9: I downloaded the patch, and it didn't seem to do a damn thing, lol. I finally returned it, and Best Buy gave me my money back, no questions asked.

@VaFreeways Ah OK. I was looking at Adobe Elements... but maybe I'll give Vegas another go. My issue is that it only speeds up to 4x speed... and I sometimes wish it could go faster. I have a Phenom 9600 quad-processor and 4 gigs of RAM... but I only have 32-bit XP and I wish I could get 64-bit. I'm hoping that's good enough. Thanks again, and I apologize for double posting my last comment.
