I can understand being upset, because we smaller sellers are in competition with larger sellers, no doubt, and we have less to work with. But actually I have no interest in doing it as big as John. I don’t want to rent a warehouse. I don’t want to have to store so much. I don’t want to have to hire employees. I bought 60 items off a friend’s pallet. I paid more per item and haven’t sold enough to pay off my purchase price yet (getting close), but I can handle this smaller means to the same end-making money.

Correct. Fry's Electronics was a nationwide big-box store that started in the South Bay Area (Sunnyvale, CA) and headquartered in San Jose. They recently (2021) closed all their stores due to failure to capture the online shopping space and from what I could tell, major supply issues. For years before they closed they would have massive shelves that would be sparsely stocked or even empty. It was very odd. Used to be the go-to place for computer hardware, games, DVDs, TVs, appliances, etc.

When you step off the top of an extension ladder by stepping over the ladder rather than stepping to the side it's more stable because your body weight goes straight down against it as opposed to sideways or some other thing. That "ladder safety thing" is or should be imperative to someone who work on roof everyday. It attaches to the top of an ext ladder to make egressing that ladder a lot safer. And probably very valuable.

I had the same problem as you going to an auction and the locals causing a scene. Except I was actually worried for my and my family's safety so I guess they win. I went 3 times and it was just a hole in the wall box lot style auction which I only went for the entertainment because I miss going to those. That's how I started reselling when I was 13. So I end up spending like 2-3k in the first 3 visits, I had a toothless guy yelling I need to leave some stuff for the little guy. Meanwhile he sold at the flea market and I was only buying stuff I could sell online. I had one guy follow me out to my car talking shit to me asking if I thought the stuff was made of gold. He was mad I outbid him on about 150 sealed monster trucks hot wheels at $3 each. They are $3.80 at Walmart and these were from like 2005. I could have just collected them for all he knows and it still would have been a great deal. The straw that made me not go back though was a woman screaming in my face that I was stealing from her children by buying the stuff she wanted. I live in a state where you can't carry a gun basically anywhere and I was visiting a run down area of a state where you can. The employees and auctioneer did nothing to stop her and I genuinely was worried about getting shot or robbed. It's absolutely insane. Same shit happens to me in thrift stores. People call me Rockefeller and money bags. Meanwhile they sit in there from open to close harassing the employees and don't have smartphones or know how to use eBay. So I come in and outspend them in my 30 minute sweep on the store.

All the screws you could probably turn them into a metal recycler and get more money.

Nothing funnier than pissing off other bidders at an auction i buy everything i know i can make money on and i buy a lot of lots and get everything from head shakes to angry stares and every now and again someone will approach me demanding to know why i bid them up lol.

36:56 the picture frames are a case pack of 1 set. The labeling is right. Those pictures are a set of images that are cohesive. You can hang them on the wall as is for a black/white cluster piece, or replace with images of your own if you only want the frames.

Adjustable beds are extremely expensive, I've been buying them for years, if you don't have a mattress you can buy one of those kind that self-inflate from Costco... I've had a bad back all of my life, it does make a difference, you can work out of your bed, with a laptop... watch your big screen TV all kinds of silliness... Anybody that has an aging parent, or a bad back would be interested, you may be able to do it on local pickup whichever ones are popular in your area, or Ebay local pickup.. it's not like you don't have a warehouse there's somebody there to pick it up and help them...

I paid $180 for one of those vacuum cleaners and it lasted exactly a year v the crapped out, motor burnt out. I parted it out for sale online & they sold quickly and made $120 bucks back ! So not too bad for used vacuum tubes, sweeper.

That Zevia , is terrible tasting . It's made with stevia, not sugar, glucose syrup . I only bought one can just to try it . Glad I did . Terrible taste , so bitter . I don't know why, I grow stevia . My drinks never taste like that . I'm on keto, and sugars and other carbs are a no no . Another thing to stay away from is that Bubly water . Tastes nasty, with a bitter after taste . We know how you feel about the whole chest mount thing but have you heard about insta 360 go 2? I picked one up couple weeks ago, it’s the size of a thumb, very magnetic and comes with a necklace you wear under your shirt and it just sticks on, no mounts and awesome for public and hands free filming. Still super Anoying and time consuming filming with 2 cameras but it’s pretty awesome lol. Nice load by the way!

This may or may work out for you since you have a local warehouse and you do local sales. Most of these pallets would be a VERY bad investment for most online resellers who mostly ship to their buyers. - Flippin Aint Easy
