Hi Laura and Aaron, Laura, you are just so talented. Your eye for colour is so amazing. I'm pushing 60, live in South Australia, have been an avid gardener almost my entire life, I call myself a 'garden artist', but I have to say, your talent goes above and beyond and you have taught me plenty. Also, you seem a beautiful soul and I love watching you and your family including your pets. Thank you so much for bringing these wonderful videos into my life and that of so many adoring fans. Well done xxx

Omg, I can't wait until next fall to plant. I just purchased my home and have been told by the family that their grandmother planted hundreds of bulbs. I don't want to disturb them sho I'm just doing potted plants now. Thanks for the inspiration!
@mariankay6482
@mariankay6482 4 жыл бұрын
Just a thought and it won't matter in the long run, either way... If it was a grandmother who lived in the house, the chances are good that all those bulbs will need to be taken up and split and replanted, anyway, so, you could go ahead and do some careful digging in a couple of areas and get a jump on it. I've seen Laura just dig them up and pop em right back into a different hole. She's pretty fearless when it comes to that kind of thing though. Enjoy your new home! I pray God's blessing on it and all who enter it. Amen!

I have been watching your videos and have gotten great Ideas from you. We don't have some of the same plants but still the idea is there. Thank ya'll for all you do and the time you put into doing this. I would love to see a video on your cold frame or on a greenhouse. Is it worth building one? What all you can keep in there in the winter. Do you have to heat in there? I Love that you talked about your church and taking time for your family. Have you ever thought about starting another channel about your faith? Bible study? With your ability to talk and express yourself the way you do you could be a powerhouse!! God has given you an amazing gift of reaching people and what a witness you could be for Him! Even just a devotion reading. It would be amazing. I Pray that you are as blessed as you bless everyone that finds you channel. Thank you again.

The groundhog is also called a whistle pig because of the funny sound he makes. He is about the size of a large cat but short legs. He showed up in our yard while we were at the Grand Gardenshow. He ate all the beans and new seedlings. At first I thought the little rabbit was to blame. Then the groundhog ate all of my ornamental cabbages before I could plant them. We live in a very populated subdivision but still have some wildlife around.

Do you have indigenous animals that are destructive? The biggest problem is , I can pay a pest service over $400 to attempt to trap him; they would release him in woods; but our animal control doesn't allow us to do it ourselves. They only allow us to kill him. That seems s bit extreme to me. We won't hurt him.

They did a video in November 2019 about how they do winterize their water lines themselves; here it is kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mZ-IlbeGr9beZqM.html One thing I recently learned is that if you go into a KZfaq channel, go into videos, then the search feature, you can find just about any video you may be looking for (provided that the text is in the title or in their description box). So helpful! It is great that Laura and Aaron do this because if you want to find a specific topic from the past, it makes it so easy.

Before watching your videos I thought those tall grassy plants were a waste of time, money, and good garden real estate! But you have an amazing ability to use them to highlight and compliment neighboring plants - that area where you whacked the hosta out by your back door especially emphasizes my point. Girl! I need help with my mums. The flowers I planted in the ground in September died right away even though I watered and fertilized on a schedule. I also added starter fert to the soil when I planted. But the ones that I left in the pots, and set in place in my flower garden, to look planted, held their blooms longer. Both sets of flowers are in my front yard only separated by my front walkway. The blooms and foliage eventually shriveled up, but last week I saw that there was curly looking new growth near the bases of the potted plants. They get a mix of Sun and shade every day. Every vid I watch gives varying tips on caring for mums. I wonder how YOU care for them. I live in Detroit, MI. I see others with mums planted around the same time as mine or even before. They are still alive and in full bloom. Also, I keep finding bonus tomato plants in my garden. They are not the variety of tomato I planted. My coworker said a grape tomato plant showed up in her yard this year. She's not a gardener at all. I wonder if others are experiencing this. I had one show up in my geranium hanging basket in mid summer. Last week I noticed a tiny plant sprouting in a pot that had been empty all season.
