Almost every one-star review for any product these days is because someone couldn't figure it out immediately and got mad. They even give one star reviews if a perfectly good product gets damaged in the mail. Anyway, very fun video!

The slow downloading of assests is actually a problem, not only with this, but quite a few addons, specially asset libraries. But I think it's not the add-ons' but blender's fault.

Imagine all the developers of these add-ons who were so proud of themselves and then the only person who reviews it is some idiot who couldn't use it correctly so your add on is forever buried in the 1 star category.

Simplebake is hands down probably my favorite addon of all time. Esp if you like to use procedural materials as oppsoed to downloading maps.

It's been my #1 addon to reccomend, I have a decent amount of crashing issues with it though ever since I switched to blender 3.# seems to just be a me issue mostly though.

Awesome stuff. So now I am gonna buy all the Add-ons I avoidet because of the reviews. You earned some people a shit ton (well by my standarts...and these are pretty low) of money. Hi Smeaf, first - excellent and funny video! In case of simple bake: I have this add-on for a long while and when u bake 2k textures (Albedo, AO, Normals etc.) it doesn't take only 3 seconds ;) ( (just to be fair)... BUT - more important for people they means that Addon doesn't work: U need a proper Texture Setup. Complicated Node setups doesn't simple bake. (in my case I have never get a chance to proper export emission map)....the Addon self is excellent
