Spending some of my birthday money on this. When you talked about your anxiety disorder it really hit me, I have lots of anxiety disorders and I'm not rlly gonna talk about it but it made me feel like im less weird if that makes sense. Keep making Gelli Fields even better! ❤️

Amazing work Fairlii! I can tell that - just from looking - this system is way better than the old one. I still feel the Gellis need more to do, but this is a huge step in the right direction to making the game actually Gelli-centered. Keep it up! (but don't stress yourself)

You can relax. You made an enjoyable gameplay loop and creative idea. Now if you ever stress about not making progress, you know that you have got something done. You have us to cheer you on :)

Awesome stuff. If you would still like to feed your jelly, sometimes when a mechanic is annoying you have to think the other way around. In this case you HAD too feed it because otherwise it had a negative effect. What if you COULD feed it for a positive effect. For example, instead of hunger, it has a "happiness" or "fulfilled" bar which increases for a short time after you feed it. Then you could have a positive effect, like the cleansing ability gets better for a while, or something. It could even have food preferences.

I absolutely adore this game! I’m so excited to play it!

Hey! Just recently found out about this amazing game (great work on it!). I love everything about it, and an idea I had that could potentially add a bit more of a purpose to why you’re doing it is to make permanent upgrades that will help you later on, maybe with a skill tree or something, and each time you start in a new biome on the same world new elements are added and the game gets tougher, and you can use the permanent upgrades to make it easier. This would also make it less repetitive and give completionists a goal to work towards. Just something I thought up while bored in class, don’t know if I explained it well or if you were already planning/had been suggested something like this (I haven’t watched any livestreams), but I think it’s a fun little idea, and whether you like this idea or not I wish you great luck in the rest of the game, you’ve done a great job so far :)

It seems like a really nice relaxing game, I look forward to see the future development of the game, I’m definitely subscribing

The game looks great, but one issue I had with it is that the slime doesn't do much and I think if you some how make it so that the slime is constantly doing something it makes the game loop more eventful. Besides that the game is very polished and is very fun and relaxing.

Hi, amazing video. You could make (or find) a shader that scrolls a texture over the corrupted parts that makes the color darker or lighter in different spots (kind of like the minecraft enchantment glint), thus making it feel less static.

could add like simple activities to do with your gelli when you're bored? You know like petting it, or just like throwing a ball and it goes to get it. Just very simple things to do while waiting for crops to grow or something

hey just a suggestion to make the "delete save file" button look less like the escape button or atleast add a warning before doing it. incase your wondering yes i lost all my data and dont worry i only had 1 save and wasnt too far in it

Wouldve been cool if you made the train bring half the items you put in the boxes, in other words brings like 12 stone back to your next biome if you put in 24 stone

Btw, In your previous Gelli Fields devlog, I mentioned the idea of a crystal biome. Maybe you would like to implement that idea?

What if in the future levels you added mining? You have the whole ground area and it just seems empty. Just a thought. Also, I think the glitch effect from binding of Isaac is really cool. It’s like the sprite mixes itself up. It’s hard to explain if you haven’t seen it

One suggestion: Shop rotation, occasionally (maybe every day) the shop should have three new items in stock because right now your playthrough seems very dependent on what items are in the shop. Bonus idea: shop stock items in the shop have limited stock, so you can’t just use money to brute force your way through the game. I’m not a game dev or anything, but these are just my ideas

i think if you remove the internal outlines of the tiles the game will look 200% more pleasing and proper. the rocks look like metal panels and its all so griddy. keep up the good work though!

dont remove the friendship mechanic, make so they're different jellies in each biome, and by giving them some food they will help you, you can even restore the breaking mechaanic, so every time you level up friendship, they will help you clean some stuff, but hey this is just a advice im not the one making the game after all.

bro I will HATE corruption in a game like this seems a bit counterintuitive since this game is supposed to help with anxiety good example of what I'm talking about is terraria that game is so chill but then your whole world gets corrupt while you're doing nothing and the anxiety is unreal
