Hello everyone,
Today, I am going to share with you an experiment I did in Sky a few weeks back. Yep, I was too lazy to edit it. I added random people in-game and gave them hearts to see how many will actually return it. To my surprise, most of them did return the heart.

Well it was almost obvious the moths and orange capes wouldnt return it because, 1. They dont know what the heart is for or what to do about it and 2. They broke asf right now trying to unlock everything.

@@latte3091 in my experience, its either they already have full constellation, doesn't want to commit in adopting a moth, wants to save your candles, etc..

@@amethyst5047 wdym full constellation? Doesn’t that only apply to favorite friends constellation? They can just keep the moth in the normal constellation imo, at least that’s what I always do. As for saving candles, they’d usually unlock it themselves right after, if they aren’t going to, I see no point in declining because it’ll just hurt the moth. When I was a moth i had few friends and they were very precious to me, so things like these were detrimental and actually made me generalize and refrain from friending or upgrading anything because of the fear of rejection. Committing to adopting a moth, I think that might’ve been the case with me. What still puzzles me is that irc they said I can always come to them if I ever need anything.. isn’t that indirectly saying they were going to adopt me? Idk

Someone tried to do this, so when they unlocked highfive, I thought they were trying to unlock chat (this was when I went to visit my first friend for the first time in half a year) so I unlocked hug, then they offered a heart, and I (paid them back) was like awww, then I realized it was a quest and didn't know how to feel. Recently I tried doing this and literally no one gave me a heart back 😭 I don’t have many friends who send me hearts and I’m tryna unlock everything from the valley constellation and so far I’ve gotten everything that costs candles but there’s Sm left that costs hearts and I’m struggling so hard to get more hearts 💔😭

It´s nice i agree, but there are people who aren´t that nice. :/ A person who i was friends already. TPd to me in the treehouse arena and asked for a heart, i wanted to ask if they will give me one back, but they said their in a hurry. Then started talking about how hard it is to get hearts or smt. My other friend was there and started shouting at them for not even saying: thank you to me. They looked so shooked and left the game. XD

You are right. at the end of the day - theres a person behind the avatar. so u ll see some bad people too...but the ratio is better than other games when it comes to good people.

I remember being rich once and I literally would kidnap a not so moth to accompany me through a realm cuz I'm lonely lol. I would gift them a heart as a thanks after completing the realm, since they're new so they might not know about 'trading' but I'm not hoping for a return since it's a 'gift' after all. Hope I can be rich again to do that again lol p/s: also they're a good one for not running away even though I kidnapped them lol

Out of all the communities I'm in, Sky has always been the most comforting and stable community. It's so wholesome! The game itself is a beautiful escape from reality, and meeting new people from all over the world in a virtual paradise is amazing. It's friendly for all ages and teaches manners and teamwork, just like TGC intended it to. It lets you express yourself and be yourself. There's something special about nonverbal communication with other skykids. The majority of people in my friend constellation haven't exchanged words at all, but I like it that way.

i did this exact thing the other day cuz i needed 25 hearts for the dark blue cape and i had only 1 friend. i specifically chose the ones with cool outfits and speacial capes cuz they be rich, 2 out of 9 didnt return a heart. (one was a moth that watched me and gave me the first candle so i thought maybe she has candles, lets not discriminate her but she didnt then she cried then i cried then i helped her treehouse quest. that one was on me)

Once at the polluted geyser someone friended me then gave me a heart. I tried to give one back but they kept doing the no emote and didn't accept it, so I'm guessing it's someone's alt account cause they're dressed as a moth and they just wanted to spend some extra candles. Or maybe not an alt account and they just felt like giving a heart to a stranger lol Also with a less newer friend before that, mentioned heart trade and gave me a heart. Except I only had 2 candles so I quickly gathered candle wax to get a third and sent the heart to them through constellation hahaha

I just found a dude sleeping on water cave (wtf is he doing there?) Edit: btw he add me as a friend because he said that i found his secret spot seems fake but that was the truth in fact he told me his real name (idk if it is but yeah nvm) his name was Mobai (his nickname) his real name was Xiaobai and i talk to him a lot which made a bond on our friendship tho it was wholesome. Honestly, I think I should’ve done this. I have this friend who only comes to me for hearts, I gift them hearts without accepting anything in return. I tried hanging out with them multiple times but they either hang out with me for 5 minutes without talking much and then leaving saying “they need to find their friend” or they’re already with their friends and they just talk Chinese 24/7 and ignore me or just give me “shut up” answers.
