Yoda's body is old and feeble. He uses the Force to move so fast in combat but it's like sprinting. He can't do it all the time. His cane and weakness is legit. Padme's wardrobe is on her ship. She's rich and rich people don't have to pack their RV when they go on a trip. The RV is always stocked like a second home. You are going to love Episode 3. I can't wait.

A few things you seem to have missed: -Jango Fett, the bounty hunter who acted as the base sample for the Clones, said he was hired by a man named Tyranus. Darth Sidious just called Count Dooku 'Tyranus' so Dooku is who hired Jango Fett.....to make the Clones....for the Republic? Then why did Dooku sound surprised that the Republic could amass this Clone army so quickly if Dooku, the new apprentice for Darth Sidious, is the one responsible for making it? Sus! -The plans Dooku takes with him when he leaves Geonosis are the plans for the Death Star -Dooku used to be a Jedi (was Qui-Gon Jinn's master, and was apprentice of Yoda) and eventually left due to 'political differences'. And then shortly thereafter we discover Kamino was deleted from the Jedi Archives? I wonderrrrrr if theres a connection there -We saw in Episode 6 that Vader doesn't have a right arm, like Luke. It was machinery. Now I guess we know how that got to be!

Hi Cristy, “This is what I imagine heaven looks like.” Amazing that you said that. When I saw episode 2 in the big screen, and saw Anakin and Padme sitting on the grass, waterfalls behind them, I said, “this is it!” From what I remember from the Return of the Jedi novel, when Darth Vader asked Luke to remove his helmet. Free from the suit and the Dark Side of the Force, a scent, a sensation, brought a flood of memories back for Vader. Episode 2 was still many years from being made by George Lucas, but THIS moment of Anakin with Padme on the grass with waterfalls behind them is what I realized Vader remembered. This moment brought Anakin back! ‘The Return of the Jedi, Anakin Skywalker. He remembered Padme’s scent and saw her in Luke. This is what that scene meant to me.

As for your comment on why they killed off Shimi Skywalker you are partly correct. yes it was to show Ani changing but its deeper than that. Not giving anything away for episode 3 Anie has issues coping with change and the biggest influence on his life was his mom who he coudnt save. If she would have survived it would change how Anie developed. Same to be said for Qui Gonn. Qui Gonn would have been a father figure and along with Shimi would have had a lot of influence on Anie. Obi Won true is like a brother to anakin. But With Qui Gonn gone and he mom dead its left a whole in his life were he can be influenced by others plus as he said in episode 2 after his moms death about being powerful, keep people from dying and the pain of loss. This has set the table for him to be manipulated and affect his path.

Yes, Anthony Daniels is essentially always in the C3PO costume, except for certain CGI and other small shots. He has made his whole career on playing and voicing C3PO and famously refuses to let anyone else play him in anyway. Which is why his voice is probably the most consistent thing you will find across all Star Wars movies, shows, games and even commercials. I dont know if its actually true but apparently Anthony Daniels has never said no to any official Star Wars C3PO job, since the first movie in 1977.

Yoda and his cane: in order to fight the way he did required incredible Force focus, that cannot be sustained long-term. Yoda is old, so when not focussing on the Force this way, his ailments return, as does his cane. Clone Troopers/Storm Troopers The clone trooper armour looks different to storm troopers, and the armour evolves over time. Eventually the empire phases out clones, and switches to volunteer recruits - these are the Storm Troopers. Jango Fett - he is a Mandalorian, the toughest warriors on the galaxy! Which is why they can stand against Jedi. The Mandolorian TV show focussed on this brood of Warriors, and is excellent.

That means you're not allowed to _have_ friends. Not even other Jedi.

If only R2 was programmed to detect the small creatures. I'm guessing he was only programmed to detect bigger beings. Padme said "I 'wasn't' the youngest queen ever elected"? That doesn't make sense. I thought she was. Anakin never tried to kill his son when he knew Luke was his son. Anakin's tusken slaughter never fails to give me chills. The emperor's theme, Vader's theme/the imperial march. Screw the tuskens. "If only...senator Amidala...were here", trying to guilt Jar Jar into proposing it, because they knew that Padme would never allow that. I love Obi-Wan's humor in the arena. The assassin shooting at OBI-WAN at the beginning... Don't shoot the 6 foot man you're trying to kill who is just helplessly dangling from the 1 foot robot; no no... Shoot the smaller target. (WHY??)

7:26 so Cristy you picked up on something very interesting which many miss, Master Yoda and in fact the entire council have had their senses using the force “dulled” or clouded, this is because of the Jedi code which has not only changed in the past 100 years, but also allows wrongful use of the force, this action allows the Darl Lord to enter into the republic political seat of power, and also allows him to syphon a huge surge of the force creating more imbalance, .. but the Jedi are subconsciously allowing it and continue to allow it until it’s too late.

You asked if you could go there. Yes. The villa is on Lake Como, Italy. I visited it in 2019. If you are staying in any of the towns around Lake Como you can fetch day tours on boats and they stop for an hour or two at the villa. You can walk all around the grounds. It's beautiful. I'm too lazy to look up the name. I'm sure you can find it easily.

Quick trivia tidbit; When the Assassin was hiding in the bar and got her hand cut off. The Black guy and the slender older guy are actors that other more prominent characters. The black guy is Ahmed Best and played that stupid Space Rabbit. The older guy is Anthony Daniels a d plays C-3PO, and yes he's in the suit most of the time, ( Except Obvious CGI). He has played him from the beginning. Also George Lucas Wrote & Directed THX 1138 in film school. 1138 in Easter Egged thruout the Star Wars films. In A New Hope, when an Imperial officer questions Luke Skywalker and Han Solo about Chewbacca, Luke attempts to fool him by claiming it is a "Prisoner transfer from Cell Block 1138. In Empire, there is a reference to the number 1138 when General Rieekan orders Rogues 10 and 11 to Station 3-8 shortly before the Battle of Hoth. I'm not sure in Return. In The Phantom Menace, 1138 is written in the back of the B-1 Battle Droid that got tangible on JarJars leg. In Clones, when Padme falls out of the troop transport, then when the Clone helps her up the marks she made rolling in the sand is 1138. In Revenge of the Sith, 1138 identifies Clone Marshal Commander Bacara as CC-1138, Bacara. He does something it the film, (will say in the comments of that reaction). It is not mentioned in the film but was confirmed thru Star Wars Database. It does appear in Disney SW but it doesn't hold any significance.

42:45 "I feel like such a drag" and "I'm quite beside myself!" C-3PO is so fun! 43:19 What's the name of this movie? right, Attack of the Clones. that's your answer! 52:27 Throw in Rogue One before that! Rogue one, then 4-6 again. I promise, you'll understand why when watching. don't forget Solo either, but there are things there that might be shocking if you haven't seen the Clone wars animated series before that... just watch it all Cristy! This is my favourite Star Wars movie, the glory days of the Jedi, and we get a brilliant example on what they were up to with Kenobis investigation! running round different contacts getting clues, then zooming off to different planets for answers.

So pleased you got to this. I've been checking in all week. A lot of people are really down on this movie, but I think it only sags in the Anakin/Padme scenes (which you clearly were fine with!) You're in for the biggie now: REVENGE OF THE SITH!!!!! It's going to blow you away. Before you do 4,5,6 again, I would really say "do Solo and Rogue One" next. In that order. Solo is just a disposable, fun frippery. A nice palate cleanser. Nothing to be taken seriously. And then Rogue One is big and deep and heavy...and Episode 4 literally starts a few seconds after Rogue One finishes!

Awesome reaction, as usual. Thanks! Take a second look at the scene on Tatooine when Anakin is leaving Padme to go rescue his mom from the Sandpeople. Notice Anakin's shadow cast upon the building. The shadow of Anakin's head is kind of shaped like Darth Vader's helmet, isn't it? Yes, that was foreshadowing a key point in Anakin's turn to the Dark Side. You were right!

"Do you consider North America, Central America and South America to be _all_ America?" In fact, I do. It's been pointed out to me that the all-too-frequent inclination to boil the world down into simple, little bites has places, in geography, where it breaks down, a bit. There's the question, "How many continents are there?" Usually, this question is asked with the expectation that one can reason, "Well, there's North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and Antarctica. That's seven." But, consider, how does one define the word "continent?" If a continent is just a large mass of land, well then, how large? By this definition, North America and Asia would each probably count as a _few_ continents. Does Greenland count? If a continent is a large mass of land surrounded by saltwater, then North America and South America are a single continent called America. So, too, Europe, Asia and Africa are a single, massive continent called Afroeurasia. But Antarctica is not a single mass of land. It is, in fact, an archipelago. Is one of its masses of land large enough to count as a continent? Well, that depends on who you ask. What about Australia? Does Australia take up enough of the Earth's surface to be officially counted as a continent? So, right there, we have at least _two_ continents. We _might_ have four. Geography. It's a grey area.
