My dad raised me on this! I'm 74. I'll be singing this song at the grand opening of a tea shop in Seattle in July. Along with a bunch of other 1920s/30s songs.

While all four of them are superb, I am always particularly impressed with Donald. I so very badly wish that I had found the Mills Brothers before he passed, so I could thank him for filling the cracks in my soul. Sounds corny but it's true, their music speaks to me like no other, and has a very strong impact on my emotional wellbeing.

@Gia Monette' - I listen to them, and try to learn as much as I can about them, every day. I feel as though I know them, like they're MY great uncles. I do feel blessed to have been contacted by someone in their family. From my family to yours: Thank you. You and your family are a gift from God.

@whiterook8022. I took my two year old daughter to see him (Donald) and his son perform at the Fresno Fair back in 1991. At the intermission, I took her to the back of the stage and managed to get him to hold her in his arms and sing to to her the song "Daddy's little girl". This is the first song she heard when she (and later my other two daughters also) was born, just a few minutes old and evey so often after she (and they) we're born. I was able to tell him how I discovered them on an old 8 track tape when I was about ten years old in 1974 and that I memorized all their songs because they brought so much happiness to my heart, getting me through some sad times too. He was very happy and I think he probably knew that others will discover their music and enjoy them too. ☺️🙏
