Rod, Clapton and Ronnie are in their late 70s! What a bunch of young rock stars, how cool! It's a miracle, I was so impressed, look at them! Rock and roll is not dead yet! Thanks Matt for the great video!

Nice tribute, I not only miss Jeff, but Mickey Waller as well sadly long gone. Truth is an amazing album and Mickey Waller was the driving force "kickin' it out of the park".
@peregrinepickle6 ай бұрын
Mickey Waller was truly the most under appreciated drummer in rock and roll. He was simply the best, right up there with Ginger and Mitch.
@andyshuttleworth83416 ай бұрын
@@peregrinepickle I had dealings with Baker and I met Mickey Waller. What is sad is that after Cream and the Experience those two faded away sadly. For me Mickey Waller was a hidden treasure.

This is what Sir Rod needs to be doing instead of that estrogen filled Vegas act he has been doing for years. The old boy can still rock with the best of 'em.

I love these guys, always will. The original Jeff Beck group -- Beck, Stewart, Wood and Waller -- wow. But really, I don't think the drummer or bassist here ever listened to the original as played on Truth.

Rod and ron wood , who featured prominently on a version of this song on the Truth album , make a mockery of this in a presentation to pay tribute to their ‘friend ‘ and former bandleader through their lack of preparation and foolish attitude

None of these rich rockstars have a wah pedal. Sounds like a garage band
@TheCapedWanderer Жыл бұрын
Why did they let Ronnie do the lead guitar part if he was just gonna play the same riff over and over? The point of this song is Jeff’s wah-wah making different sounds for every break. Clapton shoulda done it.
@larushka1 Жыл бұрын
Because they had no time to rehearse. Didn’t you hear Rod say they were making it up?
@TheCapedWanderer Жыл бұрын
@@larushka1 ergo, have Eric do it. It’s an improv part anyway, and he’s the resident wah-wah expert. He makes up a different solo for White Room every time he plays it, just do that in little bursts and you’ve got a killer Ain’t Superstitious.
@ChrisLawton66 Жыл бұрын
Why cry about it?
@TheCapedWanderer Жыл бұрын
@@ChrisLawton66 At a Jeff Beck tribute concert there are a handful of songs everybody wants to see, one of them is certainly I Ain’t Superstitious, and our friends here dropped the ball on the main feature of the song.

Who disrespected him?
@flyingburritobro68 Жыл бұрын
He was a musicians musician and didn’t chase fame snd popularity. Real music fans know and appreciated him and his work and him passing changed nothing. If you don’t know him then you are not a rock and blues fan period
