@@itblossoms6721 ar kind of a smart keyboard programmer was a requirement then. Because annikki ellaam programmers romba rare. Most of the top music directors in all south indian languages used him. Even he has worked for tr. He has also worked for rajkoti in many telugu movies. Also few malayalam music directors. Ar was too good in computerised keyboard programming. So rahman worked for raja. Technicaly speaking raja guru ellaam kedayaadhu. They both had mutual benefits. His gurus were dhanraj master, dakshina murthy sami kind of people. He has given needed respects to raja sir. Where did rahman disrespect raja.

He SHARES his copyrights with the Cine Musicians’ Union and also funded the premises. He respects his art, predecessors and anybody who does not mess with him. He is well-known for his DISCIPLINE. WHAT MORE are you looking for in a human being? Even you would not have been like that in your life.

rajeshmusical, the MSV-fanatic who is enjoying all the IR-haters' comments! IR has mentioned 1001 times about MSV and has also CO-COMPOSED with MSV in 2 movies by APPROACHING MSV. He has also co-composed with Dakshinamurthy swami. That, in reality, is HUMILITY. Has Arr EVER done that? Anybody can spill empty sugar-coated words and sentences like Arr.

"How do you feel?" etc.! I will tell you why. IR is the EASY soft target and the SCAPEGOAT, while others are DARLINGS of the media; has been like that since 1976!

@@rajeshsmusical Why IR has to mention about ARR. Defeninetly IR enjoys about ARR as a father like moment . ARR worked with IR more than 300 movies .. so ARR guru is IR. He learnt many things from him only. But due to political advantage he never mentioned about it other than his decipline. Is that the only thing he could learn from IR even he worked for so many movies which is not even near to ARR movies in the last 31 years... So think about it with your sixth sense.. apart from this yes ofcourse ARR is a good composer who gave us close to one full CD of good songs. After all IR did only few DVDs of good songs..

இளையராஜா மற்றும் ரஹ்மான் போன்ற இசையமைப்பாளர்களை விட சற்றும் குறைவில்லாத இசையமைப்பாளராக மெல்லிசை மன்னர் இருந்தார். இன்னமும் சொல்லப்போனால், அவரது காலத்திலேதான் அவர் தமிழ் திரையிசையை தற்போதுள்ள modern trend ற்குக்கு மாற்றி orchestration க்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்து, தற்போதுள்ள BGM trend ஐ கொடுத்தார். மொத்தத்தில் மிகப்பெரிய சீர்த்திருத்தை தமிழ் திரையிசையில் கொண்டுவந்தார். இதையெல்லாம் செய்த அவர் தன்னடக்கத்தின் உருவாமாக விளங்கினார். ஆனால், இளையராஜா மற்றும் ஜெயலலிதாவைத்தவிர வேறு யாவரும் அவருக்கு உரிய அங்கீகாரங்களை தந்ததே இல்லை. உலகத்தில் இசைக்கு உரிய அத்தனை விருதுகளுக்கும் அவர் தகுதியானவராக இருந்தும் ஒரு அரசு சார்ந்த உயரிய விருதும் அவர் பெற்றதில்லை. இது ஒரு சமுதாய அவமானம். ஒரு தீவிர ரசிகனாக எனது ஆதங்கத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளேன்.

Absolutely. There were no exposure during msv period . Noth india dominated much. MSV hits % is higher. Exposure some what opened during Raja's period. It was wide open globally during 1990s and ARR. capitalized it. Raja missed it.

Yes, everyone is great in his own respect, and every has some flaw, nobody is perfect. There is no use harping on unpleasant things and creating controversy. ARR is absolutely right. Really the most humble and balanced celebrity we have ever seen. Hats off to ARR.

Are you all hallucinating? There was NO controversy in the first place. All this is PAID propaganda AGAINST Ilayaraja. It is MEDIA that cooks up all "controversies" to abuse IR, because he is the easy soft TARGET; whereas people like Arr, MSV, SPB etc. are media's DARLINGS. IR NEVER criticizes or praises; his stand is always NEUTRAL.

He has composed for FREE or Lesser compensation for MANY movies to help directors like Mani Ratnam, P. Vasu, Santhana Bharathi, Pratap Pothan etc. to find their feet; that is REAL magnanimity. He SHARES his copyrights with the Cine Musicians’ Union and also funded the premises. He respects his art, predecessors and anybody who does not mess with him. He is well-known for his DISCIPLINE. WHAT MORE are you looking for in a human being? Even you would not have been like that in your life.
