With a little more of end-game intuititon you would have drawn the endgame pushing the pawn, it would have been legendary. Anyway most of the game was incredible solid on your part; like MVL was dead lost several times.

That was a tantalising game! You had him beat, if not for that rook and than in the endgame against the bishop you could pull a draw, yet one wrong move under time pressure and it’s GG. Chess is brutal, love your vibe!

If I’m not mistaken, I believe Anna had a chance to at least end this game in a draw versus MVL. At 9:44, instead of moving her King to G6 she should’ve moved her pawn up to G5 to force the pawn trades. That way MVL would’ve only been down to his king and bishop, and it’s generally not possible to force a checkmate with just a bishop and king. As long as Anna had her king far away from her remaining pawn to avoid any traps, even if that last pawn got taken, she could’ve walked away from this with the draw (which in itself would have been a huge accomplishment against one of the top super GM’s in the world like MVL).

At 4:02 Wasn’t it simple to get Be5 and exchange the black bishop because that’s the only defense MVL had for the king wow Anna was +5 at that point, lol and Rad1 is the move suggested by the engine After Bxe5, white is still +2 but the bishop is exchanged after Rad1 by the engine

@@mrnobody5763 People usually say all that crab (not what you said) because the only thing they do is to watch the engine level bar. (Easy isn't it). Also many annoying commentators on chess broadcast does the same... When you have a legit GM commentating without an engine showing best move, level bar, etc, is waaaayy more entertaining because you can actually feel how advance and fast this players are based on what you see and what the commentator say about the position you are watching.

great game to push such a super GM so far, ackward silence due to copyright, if it is the music it is kind of a joke kniwong how they deal (or at least they used to deal in the past meaning cheating both side of the atlantic) with copyright in Jazz between US and Europe (or at east France) haha, but that si reat to see you playing against MVL, I wihs you get some advices from him afterwards :)
