I've always said drifting is one of the best things to learn, even for civilian driving. Idk how many times I've seen people hit a ditch, over correct and hit oncoming or snowy/ice driving and people crash not knowing what to do. Obviously not everyone can learn drifting but I think some type of counter steer should be taught when getting a license.

I like that when Steve is talking about his motor he's like.. "it's red, the only thing that's red is loctite..." he then proceeds to relive the full assembly of that engine in his mind. Downloading images like he's in the matrix.

The blazer.. jackstands cars... a race track. The down to earth peronality. And the best friggin content ON the entire KZfaq, and not to forget the insane amount of knowledge and skills. Prep at TX2K is ALWAYS crap, Pitty that an NHRA track can't get their act together enough to lay down good prep for an event tbh
@philiphefner8917
@philiphefner8917 Жыл бұрын
@@jttech44the issue isn’t their ability to prep,it’s the different types of cars,tires and wrecks that constantly happen. The 2000+ hp AWD cars destroy the track every year. You can watch them leave and rip big chunks of the track prep up. Usually once they’re done for their session the start line is bare concrete. Then the roll race guys who don’t even start until after the lights either blow up and wet the track down or just wreck.

Dear Cleetus, you guys made it to TX2K and made some passes. Had some troubles, (which you've taught us and preached is how things go while doing race car things) lost a day to the weather, but everyone is healthy and none of yas got hurt. I think it's an incredible accomplishment you guys got McFlurry and Mullet to the track after all the work the team has put in over the past couple weeks!! Sucks to see you disappointed, but I know you can and will bounce back and get all the Ws very soon!! We the fans appreciate ya! Stay safe Team McFarland!!
