Isn't it crazy that Bastions are actually called Bastion Remnants? That means that way before the player even existed there was one giant structure chillin in the nether, I wonder what separated the Bastion into all the Remnants, maybe it was a Wither and then the Wither went to the Overworld and did the terrorizing in the Ancient City and that's also how the Warden's story could connect to it.
