Actually it's actually reversed! In the beginning Cassidy only wanted to use CC but as they grew closer Cassidy started to actually become CC's friend. They're manipulative and sometimes they doesn't even know but Cassidy's present intentions aren't meant to be bad. (But I do agree they're becoming more like Afton 😔)

C.C. is so desperate to have someone who actually shows some care for him that he doesn't care if he's being manipulated... *-kinda relatable-* And Cassidy being so desperate to not lose someone again that it reached out to this point.. (And get revenge on Afton ofc) *-again kinda relatable-* They both deserve the world, but the world doesn't deserve them-- also Charlie's design is so adorable💞💞 amazing editing and work! The movements are so smooth-- the edit is really beautiful and well-done too - v -

this is the kind of cassidy that i would want to see in other's vids, not just u like cassidy's personality should be like this since CC is an afton, cassidy taking advantage of CC's kindness and trust would be the REAL personality for cassidy since we all know that she despies the aftons

Yo fr in my AU Cassidy is a vengeful spirit and tends to be manipulative. The other missing kid’s souls were satisfied after William’s death, as long as he undergoes the same amount of pain they did, but Cassidy traps him in hell, so that he knows what it feels like to die and live on in pain. She kicked CC out of Golden Freddy after he was tired of sustaining William’s ‘hell’ after a while, so CC returned to his old house and found his plushies and possessed Shadow. That’s just my AU though.

Looks like sadly Cassidy is more than similar to Glitchtrap then she would admit though to be fair perhaps she started off with good intentions for Evan but then lost her way in He Who Fights Monesters situation became similar to said monester.
