I just had the surgery. I personally think it's the best decision for any women, who is debating on rather they should have a hysterectomy or not. This was my personal decision and I'm a week out and feeling much better already. I did have much pain the first week, but it's to be expected. Your video gave me the push to go on. You are an inspiration & may God always bless in keep you. Ladies do your research before committing to anything, but this was an hour surgery & overnight stay in the hospital, no scaring and the recovery was great. Dr. David P Johnson performed my surgery. What an awesome and caring Doctor🌹...

I have prayed for your recovery I had about 12 fibroids and they where huge I bleed so much until I had to have a hysterectomy at the age of 40 so you lady's are blessed because I started menopause three days later and it has been a roller coaster for me so I'm glad you had another route because mine was devastating. I love that you are courageous enough to share your story. I too have had fibroids however you must do a lifestyle change along with these procedures in order for them not to come back. Like why go through all of this anguish only for them to come back. Stop eating terrible things classified as food like McDonald's. I am vegan and a lot of the hormones from dairy and that they are constantly pumping in meats are what feed the fibroids. I'm not pushing for you to be vegan it's not for everyone however please look into changing your diet or they may come back. It happened to me. Peace and love my sister.

Yes I just had my ufe on 8/9/22. And I'm feeling great! I was just in so much pain and agony not being able to do nothing. Being super depressed because my body was breaking down,stomach so bloated,the weight gain etc. Last month I had my menses and was able to wear pantyliners ! PANTYLINERS! UFE 3 days ago. ❤️. Update: 3 weeks post now. Cycle longer but LIGHT. NO cramps. Saw my Doc yesterday. He said the days will become less and less. Also told him my ankles and feet no longer swell since he did the UFE. I’m a Lady Trucker so the swelling was BAD. He said the arterial vein network is all hooked in together so some blockage may have cleared. I’ll take the two for one! 🤣😂😅🤷🏿‍♀️

I’m in tears, right now. I just watched all of your vids on UFE. I turned 47 on 5/31/20, had UFE procedure on 6/1. It’s now 6/11 and I’m still really struggling w recovering. I haven’t been able to go back to work. I’m not sure exactly how many fibroids I have, but I do know the largest is compared to the size of a baby head. My uterus was enlarged as if I was carrying a 24 wk baby. The first wk, the pain was like nothing I had ever experienced. I have never birthed any children, so have never experience labor pains. Which I guess it’s comparative to... I had to get a stronger narcotic, too. This is day 2 of no pain meds. It’s still uncomfortable, but tolerable. However now, I’m dealing w a persists fever (last 2 days). It hasn’t quite reached 102, so my dr isn’t concerned at this point. I just can’t wait to feel better. This has been a rough 10-11 days. My husband probably secretly wants a divorce (jk). I just have been getting frustrated. Watching your videos has given me so much hope that my future will be bright. Thank you so much for telling your story. It’s so important... I think once I go back for f/u MRI, in Sept... I will tell my story, too. You’re a beautiful woman and your spirit is contagious. Just had my procedure 1 week ago. How was the recovery? I'm still trying, still have sharp pains, Nausea but stopped bleeding. Period was terrible 2 days after the pain. 😢 But your video is giving me hope. I can't wait for my 3 months check-up.

I'm in tears right now... I had a myomectomy in 2009 and the fibroids came back. Hi dear, its my 2nd week after my utrine fibroid imobilization , i really feel better i can go for shopping and walk around,, but still have pain come and go ,, cant carry my niece or heavy things,, i did zumba gold felt ok wirh it,( as long as im a zumba instructor) i read all ur advices for ladies and i bring hot pad and it worked with me,, i drink hot mint, sometimes chamomile , some times jeadeh ( i dont know what you call it in your country) thank you for your prayers, its really hard time and i feel how much i get stronger after all of this pain,,, i cried alot ,,, with alot of prayers and hopefuls ,,, thank you loard to led me to Sonya's channel

I've had fibroids since 2002-03 but they were small. As years passed they grew, and I found out today (26 Jan) how big they are now. One is about the size of a golf ball, but the other one is probably about the size of a softball. That's dang big! I was told over the years that I needed a hysterectomy, but there's no fricken way I will let someone do that. Every female in my immediate family (Mom, two sisters and two aunts) had hysterectomies; I'm leaving this Earth with what I came in with! Hopefully embolization will work for me...I have to wait to see a doctor to talk about options.

I had my embolisation surgery on Wednesday was home Thursday afternoon, not feeling 2 bad i lost 1/2 a stone after surgery. I'm experiencing faint period pains today living with my life saver of my hot water bottle as well as pain meds. Thank you for your video I hope your well today?

I just found out September 2015 right before my 45th birthday that I had fibroids. I just did my UFE in January 6 2016. I have been feeling tired yesterday and today. As I was coming home from my Day job I started having this knife stabbing pain. I had called out earlier for my part time job because of the fatigue and thankfully so because the pain is very bad. Hi, congrats on you UFE and the success!. I had mine done in Nov 2014 and i went for my 3 month MRI yesterday. The fibroids have shrunk by about 30% . I still have crazy bleeds and lots of in between spotting. However I must say I cannot compare my life now to life prior to UFE its like day and night!!!. Dr did say I am one of the few that will recover slowly but but he is optimistic that eventually everything will settle down and become normal again. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.......and about your personal deposits every day....that is so true and they are huge!!!! hahahaha

I'm so happy for you. I'm 39 & I have fibroids also. I'm going to see if I can be a candidate for this procedure. I have 2 large fibroids & a handle full of small ones. I wanted to ask you what size were your fibroids. My 2 largest are 13cm & 8cm. I'm going to get a second opinion because I've been told I need a hysterectomy. You've given me some hope.

im under the care of the va and they keep prescribing bc pills my tubes are tied i never had such pain til then they say no surgery because theyre small but im in tremendous pain each month and heavy bleeding hopefully my med records will be reviewed by someone there who cares. as a veteran one would think care would be at the highest level of concern.. already requested a different dr so hopefully i will get the care i need.

I'm glad you're doing good after the procedure. I've recommended it to several other ladies. What I elected isn't for everyone.

I had this procedure 3yrs ago. It worked for some time. However, my fibroids returned. They were bigger and I ended up having a hysterectomy 2wks ago.

I guess it depends on the size of your fibroids.... I had a UFE procedure last year. While it helped a bit and my fibroids did shrink just a bit, it definitely did not eliminate them but I do have massive fibroids and was warned that with large fibroids, it may not shrink much. So I'm back again looking at a possible hysterectomy. We'll see what happens
