The theory now is that he's possesing freddy to protect gregory from burntrap/vanny/v.a.n.n.i./mimic or any other william afton form. That's my perspective

@@randyrandom3358no, unfortunately not. Glamrock Freddy doesn’t seem to be Michael Afton. I instead think he’s the original Freddy Fazbear, the one seen in FNaF 2 that’s withered. They are, lore-wise, the original four. I think Glamrock Freddy IS Withered Freddy, just with different software. My reasoning behind this is that when approaching the amalgamation, Glamrock Freddy notes to Gregory that his friends are angry(they sensed Afton was alive in some form). It was full of animatronics from FNaF 1, Sister Location, and FNaF 2. More specifically, they were the physical forms of the phantom animatronics, such as Mangle, FNaF 1 Chica, and the other Withered ones. It only makes sense it’s the OG Freddy

Todavía sigo siendo fiel a la teoría de que Freddy Glamrock es Michael Afton, lo sospeché cuando al bajar al Fazbear Pizza dice "me encontré a mi mismo cuando despejaba el camino, pero ese no soy yo", que junto a su crisis de identidad, solo es Michael negando la realidad de que no murió en el fuego, y fue convertido nuevamente en un animatronico.

Es meramente teoría. Lo que da entender el juego y los libros es que esta continuidad de SB es un semi-reboot(ocurre en el mismo universo pero ahora explora nuevos conceptos sin ignorar lo anterior explorado). Aquí los animatronicos SB son IA's corrompidas qué se volvieron autoconcientes pero no son realmente fantasmas de remanente como el resto
