This drama deserves to be called a masterpiece. The plot is unimaginable and the way they portrayed every characters uniqueness is commendable. The CGI and VFX is spectacular. One of the best sci-fi drama I have ever watched. This drama is filled with various emotions and comical scenes are hilarious. Full package 📦 drama. I enjoyed every second of it. Eagerly waiting for S2.

This drama shows what a X-men universe would look like in the world of Chinese myths and kung-fu. Like the equally impressive Bureau of Transformers a few years back, this drama managed to create a superhuman universe within a contemporary modern China setting. I heard season 2 is already in the pipeline and start shootings soon. By the way, the comic artist with the crew cut at the beginning of this episode is the creator of the animated series of this drama. There’s an Easter egg at the end of the last episode where he appeared again with Feng Baobao.

To anybody who is wondering what in the heck they are watching and if it’s worth their time or not…. It is absolutely worth your time to watch this cdrama! The first couple of episodes might make you question yourself and what you’re doing watching this drama, but it does get better. The beginning is weird and quirky, and it stays weird and quirky throughout, but it also comes together so beautifully. The acting, directing, writing, and overall flow of this drama are excellent. I do wish they had expanded on some of the supporting characters stories more, but I know Cdramas are trying to get away from some of that. Would love a second season with the same actors and/or spinoff series of some of the supporting characters.

Went to episode 11. Wow... it is such a great show and story. Love it. Reminds me of Joy of Life and Battle Through the Heavens. I hope it continues to be this good. But so far it's better than anything else this year for me. The story is just so good.
