love balatro and can't wait for the full release. also don't be afraid of spectral packs and arcana packs, those alone can really piece together a deck. jokers usually work with the "at least" in mind to make them more synergistic, so if it says "a pair" it should work with every hand except high cards, straights, and flushes. there are also special hands that aren't listed until you get the hand like 5 of a kind, or flush house. their respective planet cards can only show once you've played the hand at least once in the run. spectral packs, and arcana packs can make a build that pieces that together making reliance on jokers a little lighter.

Been addicted to Balatro since the first demo since it scratches both my rogue-like and my gambling itch, who knew adding rng to an already rng-based concept was a perfect match? Also the main theme just goes so hard in a Ritz-Carlton elevator Muzak kind of way

Loving Balatro and NLs videos see a great introduction! One thing to note about the Pair of Pants joker is that your hand merely needs to _contain_ a 2-pair. So the Full House you were developing would have absolutely kicked off with +50 chips, +2 mult after every hand, and Fibonacci adding +8 multiple times per hand. Also, a good philosophy for the game is that poker is trying to draw the right hand, but Balatro is about building the right deck.

I feel like I've noticed Datto having a lot more fun playing different games than he has playing Destiny exclusively. Still look forward to Jez, Danielle, and Datto collabs! You should drag them both to an off channel collab!

Honestly, I would love to see more of this. It doesn't have to be back to back, but just throw in there from time to time maybe some loses but crazy hands you have or just curb stomps or even what can you do with a bad hand. Fun video for me honestly but upload when you want and have fun with it. Great watch.

If you haven't checked it out already another fun card roguelike game is slay the spire. It has a somewhat steep initial learning curve but it holds up so well. Plus the modding community is constantly pumping out more content.

just a tip, you can hover over the deck to see what cards you have left and click the deck to see a full inventory. it helps a lot when you're playing with pairs!
