The problem lies at end of paper checker who is not exactly a teacher or subject expert. These papers are checked by practicing chartered accountants who themselves studied subjects like years ago specifically finance since this subject is not useful for them on a daily basis. They are just matching the answers from the marking scheme not checking the entire question like the method of solving the question. Also, finance includes mathematics which itself means that questions can be solved through multiple methods but ICAI can't provide solutions by each method. Our answer sheets are just another source of revenue for them to which they want to earn in least possible time.

I got 25 in mcq of audit and 10 out of 70 in audit. All they awarded is 0 without seeing the paper

I Scored 194 in G1 in Nov23. When I recieved the copies from rti, there I got to know one of my answer in Costing is unchecked . Therefore I applied for reverification and still that answer is unchecked, now I have no options left and started preparing for May24. ICAI should work on their reverification scheme..

I too got 55 each in FR & SFM and when I checked my paper I don't where they deducted my marks.. i could have secured exemption

Would UGC allow any institute it has recognised if that institute had 95% failure rate and 5% pass rate . They would have shut it down .

I have been given 0 marks for the same question due to rounding off(I.e 499300 instead of 5 lacs) and for forward cancellation I have been given 4 marks instead of 8 my answer is perfectly correct and well highlighted. Examiner cut the marks since I have also calculated cancellation charges (rate*qty) in each part instead of just the currency rate. I would have scored the exemption but alas no authority is available to challenge the same. Institutes really need to think whether they are producing CAs or Dumbos

This could be one of the reason for low number of students clearing CA..😢

Sir another rubbish decision is introducing IBS for which many students will give up CA and new ones will not come.

It would be advisable to refrain from expressing criticism towards ICAI and using strong language in reference to the ICAI

You are saying publishing rights le le icai and ek acha material ready kren. Is material ke basis pe checking kr paa nhi rhe, rounding off ke marks kaat rhe. Ache material ke questions to check inse bilkul na ho. Although ca course mein already bhut se subjects hain, to finance mein deep mein nhi jaana chahiye, bus jo bhi material hai currently, uske basis pe copy checking ache se kren. Aur koi finance ka course nikaalein icai wale, jisme finance mein deep mein jaayein.

In Q2b and in q4b I should have scored more marks but icai gave me only 3 in q4 I checked my steps with book also and ans also but to no avail..
