@@Sam_reyes After engagement, you call your partner a fiance. Although sometimes, some social media influencers would keep calling their fiance or husband a "boyfriend" to sound more relatable to a younger and wider set of audience (kinda like that Vietnamese lady who lives with her partner in Germany. They recently got engaged but she admits she prefers to still call him a bf). But yeah... Anyway, officially dating = bf and gf, officially engaged to be married = fiancee and fiance... Might sound unimportant, but in several countries and cities, it matters as far as customs are concerned as well as in legal documents and procedures (like when you're applying for a housing or business loan with your partner and the bank does a background check on your financial stability and all possible legal involvement with one another).

@@BilliesCraftRoom Oh absolutely! My husband and I are lucky enough that where we live (Australia) after 20 weeks any baby born is legally considered a life so as painful as the process was, we legally had to declare her birth (the hospital handled the death thankfully) so we have her birth certificate and she will be listed on the birth certificates of all of our future children. We also had to organise her funeral as well which I won't go into details about of course. It was so beautiful though to see that Japan has ceremonies for miscarriages and early pregnancy loss giving it the respect and weight it deserves. Allowing the family to grieve is so important and I hope one day there isn't a stigma around it.

This is tragic news. I'm so happy to hear that your partner was not only supportive of your health choices but also grieved with you. Sounds like he really loves you and since we love you so much that's just so awesome to hear. Also so happy your medical team and the priest were there for you two. Glad to hear you're giving yourself time and permission to take care of your health in all capacities, because you deserve that
@AneXineohp
@AneXineohp Жыл бұрын
I know you really mean well, but you should know that _of course_ he was supportive and grieving, that's to be expected (even tho it's not always the case, you don't need to imply it's so surprising he acted as a partner should and is defined to be, as acting that way is how it works, especially since it's something they committed to together in the first place as it was both of their bean); also, it was less of "health choices" and more of something she was advised to do because it was all she could do, she didn't really have a choice and he didn't either, so it only makes sense they're _supportive of eachother._

@@AneXineohp TBH I think you read way too much into that but I hope your comment made you feel better about mine. It certainly did not make me feel good, so feel free to skip reading this because it will be rant-y and I don't want you to have a bad day or anything if it hurts your feelings, especially if you already are having a rough time. But I do wanna be able to vent this out. You're welcome to comment back, but I won't continue. Don't want to do that, but I do feel like there's a bigger, important picture I'd like to illustrate for anyone interested in reading. Of course, if you feel like you need to comment back, then by all means that is your prerogative. Just know that I don't plan on saying anything more than this. So yeah... here's my rant if you feel the need to stop now because it's kinda loaded with some passionate feelings.... The fact you're trying to warp my comment into something it wasn't I don't appreciate. Also, you don't seem to grasp the gravity of this, clearly, because there a lot of women who don't have supportive partners in situations like this (even supportive healthcare and other resources that should be offered can be denied even in situations like this) even when they very much should be given support. But I don't intend to turn someone's journey into a political thing. I did need to say while I agree those things should be standard, they aren't. Also, having an empathic experience after a tragedy is always good to reflect on how you appreciated how you were treated, so there's no reason to just take it for granted when valuing the good stuff and also processing the negative stuff is healthy. I just wanted to say I was glad she was supported and that she's making healthy choices for herself, such as giving herself permission to take breaks, which is "heath stuff", so there's really no need for you to try and minimize any of that. She's doing amazing through this and I love to see that, and I think we can all appreciate how she took time and effort to keep us updated on this very difficult time for her while also being able to highlight what made this process something she could grow from with her partner and everything. These are important things we really should talk about more! Anyway I love this channel so i'm happy she's surrounded by support in such a hard time. While it should be the norm, not everyone gets that, and maybe you don't realize just how meaningful that is but that resonated with me and I just wanted to comment about how I was glad she had these positives in her life. So, no, it's not implying something so backwards like you tried to suggest, and I don't appreciate that at all, and I really hope you don't comment back with anything else because I don't plan on starting an argument especially for something like this. Of course, if you feel so compelled, that's completely your choice. For your reference, I just plan to tell you to have a good day if I say anything back at all. And I hope you do have a good day. And I hope you get this much support in your life too because everyone does deserve that. But yeah, do not appreciate you trying to make my comment into something it wasn't when I was just being positive and appreciating she's got something she deserves. That's my rant. Felt passionate about that one for a lot of reasons... I know it's a novel but seeing someone get support like this...? For a lot of reasons, it means a lot and I wanted to say that I was happy to see that. And I want to be able to feel like I can be happy for someone else (and say that I am) for things that... not everyone actually does get...

@@ms.pirate I love she felt comfortable sharing this. I super appreciate it. More people, especially women, should hear this. They deserve this sort of relationship. Not everyone realizes how real this can be and it's absolutely more than acceptable to expect and want this kind of support from others. Because some people may say "your standards are too high" but really this is healthy and Im just loving she not only has it but appreciates it and she's doing her best to keep moving forward on her journey.

@@AneXineohp Goodness me, they are just appreciating her husband. While it is the bare minimum, the world has fallen since long ago. When you said “I felt empty for awhile” I cried. I lost my baby after only 8-10 weeks. Everyone thinks it wasn’t long enough to build an attachment, but I disagree entirely. I felt and sensed him the moment he was conceived, like I felt his soul, so much that I KNOW they were a little boy. He loved five guys more than anything in the world. I had full on maternal instincts and hated spicy foods which I have loved my entire life. I took 4 pregnancy tests weeks apart just to be sure and they were all positive. I was ecstatic but scared. I wasn’t in a good place and was on the pill so I wasn’t sure how it was possible, but then I discovered I hyper-ovulate which apparently can mess up the pill sometimes. I scheduled and ultra sound to go see him and how he was doing, and suddenly, I felt sick, and felt the most pain I’ve felt in my life at the time. I called my partner frantically. Saying “I think I’m having a miscarriage, I think I’m about to lose him. Something is wrong.” And he comforted me and reassured me. I lost a lot of blood, like I was on a very heavy period. I was puking and rushed to the toilet and… I felt “empty.” I cried and prayed, and the next day, I took a pregnancy test, and it was negative. I fell to my knees and screamed. Mothers can have a connection instantly. INSTANTLY. I am so sorry this happened to you, but I am so glad you are okay and healthy and with a good partner. Don’t give up!

This made me cry (still does). It happened to me too, only that my doc said we could try to get it out without surgery. Running around with your dead baby inside of you for weeks is no fun. The pills didn't work, but two weeks later my body was able to do it on its own. The big difference was that I didn't have a loving partner like you do - mine was totally unable to deal with it and left me all alone with my grief and the whole process. You have a great partner. Wish you a wonderful family one day!

I was absolutely deverstated. 5 months after that, I had an ectopic pregnancy and my fallopian tube ruptured; I needed emergency surgery. I lost my 2nd baby and a fallopian tube. It honestly felt like I was never going to become a mother. But, after some healing I became pregnant again, and she is now almost 5 years old AND I'm pregnant again (early stages). I have been watching you for almost a year now and your videos bring me such zen and calmness while I am working. You have done so much for me even if I don't know you, and when you posted you were pregnant, it made since why I did not see your videos for a while and I was so happy for you and your family. I was excited to see the DIY you would do for your child and see your journey. Now seeing this I am thankful you are sharing your experiences and being so open and truthful, but I'm sure the sadness you feel can't even explained in just this video. I was diagnosed with endomitriosis and was confirmed I sadly cannot have children, and experienced the same surgery as you to remove extra tissue from the uterus, with no bean. When I woke up I still felt a little off and empty, even though there was nothing there. I couldn't imagine being in your shoes where it is more than just tissue removed. Though this may be a sad experience, I am hoping and giving my thoughts to you and your partner for a beautiful future. I guess what I am saying is thank you for being so open with us, as this is an important topic to talk about. You are more than welcome to your privacy, but that is very brave of you to share. Honestly I think about the rule to wait to tell anyone about your pregnancy until after the first trimester a lot. Is it because society is focused on hiding miscarriages and how common they really are? I think if more people talked about it openly it would make people more aware and educated and make a lot of mothers feel less alone. Thank you for sharing your story and so sorry for the loss of your little one. I hope they’re in a happy place now and I’m sure they will bless your future little ones ❤

It's not for anyone other than you and your partner to decide what is right for you. I genuinely started tearing up when you described the monk praying for you, and how he reassured you that the baby would be taken care of by your ancestors. It is a tragic situation, and it will probably be something that affects you for many months/years to come, but how you decide to move forward is your own decision.
