I think it has to do with poison doing one tick of damage every second. If a skeleton spawns right after the tick then it gets near 1 sec to get a hit on the tower which it can do. Just a guess

4:16 the radius of the arrows is larger than the monk’s hotbox. The arrows hit the monk and got deflected, but the parts that didn’t hit the monk didn’t get deflected. (It’s hard to explain but watch it in slow-mo)

I think it has to do with all the arrows being its own projectile, which is why the one(s) that hit the monk do get reflected and the rest don't

@@juice4104 : Well, that’s only going to get more and more common as more and more people reach it. They will be playing 7,500 players more frequently and 7,480 players will become rare occurrences for them. Similarly for runner-ups, they will essentially _always_ just end up facing people who are already there, since that’s gonna become the norm.

4:16 arrows count as lots of small projectiles, not a single unit. The monk only deflects the projectiles that hit him. The arrows at the edges aren’t deflected.

Actually the first time where I was rooting not for brad, but the enemy. Idk but I kind of feel bad for the people that are just about to reach 7500, maybe after gruesome hours of playing ladder and just switching between winning and losing, not being able to make a step forward. I understand that this supposed to entertain the people but I just can‘t help myself pitying them.
