Yeah, but Caedrel said the problem with this format is the lack of viewership because the LEC teams don´t have a strong fanbase excluding 4 teams maybe, and with the lack of fanbases you need a visually attractive game which EU don´t really have. This means that wasting 2 days on Bo3 just for GiantsX, Rogue, Vitality, etc. its not economically worth it for the LEC. But everyone totally agrees. Bo1 sucks...and the best example is LCK Challengers where Rekkles and T1 Academy always win the first game and they lose the upcoming 2. Every team can have a bad first game but Bo3 is a strategic way to see if that team was just not prepared for that specific game or they are just below the opponent and to make them analyze teams and get ready. At the end its all for money. LEC needs G2 playing the same day every team is playing, otherwise the viewership count its gonna be really low. The other point is the LEC teams staff because Caps said on an interview that some teams go to international tournaments with the mentality that they have nothing to do there, just wait till the first eastern team takes them out

good comment. Yes i mean they had several points where it was very hard to loose but they made a lot of mistakes in teamfights and T1 just capatalized on it. I think G2 can be proud. They also almost 3 0ed T1 in the first series. I think the first draft wasnt so good but 2 and 3 were. As you said it they were very nervous and also the pressure got to them i think. It seemed like at some points they werent decisive enough and hesitated which and partly lost them the series. But MSI is in comparison to worlds nothing. Hopefully they can turn up there and make at least semis. But Eu needs to have more teams that challenge asian teams but I dont think this will happen this year...

@@EscapeWithTheClouds true but consider that zeus is one of the best toplaner (top 3) in the world so also the mechanic standards nowadays are crazy high so you wont find guys in that lvl easily in western leagues ... therefore i think he played some games outstandig good, some gamed solid and unfortunatly this series bad but i saw last series that he also can sometimes gap eastern tops like 369 and zeus ... this series zeus gapped him hard but last series he was gapping zeus and thats also a fact

​@EscapeWithTheClouds Not really. In the first series BB made Zeus his bitch. Dylan just inted the drafts in game 1 and 2 they were hard draft diffs. Game 3 was the only competent draft and it was easily the most competetive, it's not a coincidence.

That's not the problem 😅 i think the biggest problem is the difference in skill between Caps and the rest of the team, it's been like this for years. Dude's casually gapping a player considered the GOAT of League both in soloq and pro play and his teammates are like on a different (lower) level. Sorta like some high diamond getting emeralds in the team, just getting dragged down, unable to win. It was like this with the previous team (Jankos, Flakked, Targa), and it's like this with the current team. Also reminds me of Jankos playing in Heretics who ended up as one of the worst teams in LEC, and yet he still outperformed other junglers in most areas 😅 Unless a few new Capses pop up in Europe, i doubt they will ever be competitive. Sad but true.

G2 losing game one with draven open was very bad for future drafts, they still should win game 2 though, gameplay wasnt on point. I think that if they had game 2 draft in game 1 with some late game tf insurance, and won with draven, the series could go completely other way around.

There's a massive difference between ego drafting i.e. drafting a comp that doesn't have cohesion but individually the champs are "im going to flex my skill on you" champs and drafting a comp like GenG does where they draft Nidalee which isn't the most reliable jungler and if you fall behind it generally is piss useless and they make it work through the rest of their comp which is solid. GenG drafted 1 volatile pick with Poppy top, Hwei mid, and Kalista Naut bot lane vs Ksante, Diana, Trist, Senna + TK. THAT is the difference. No offense but this sounds incredibly silver when you can't tell the difference between ego drafting champs that have no synergy between them like you're playing in Solo Queue and drafting a somewhat risky pick that still slots into your comp well. Drafting Kha + LB + Jax makes your topside piss useless. This isn't Solo Queue. Enemy team drafts Camille Sej Ori topside and you can't do anything with your LB mid now and take advantage of the pressure she is getting onto Ori because why? You have a useless JG pick that relies on the enemy over extending in lane + LB chain to kill or overextending in side lane to kill.
