I Applied HIGH VOLTAGE to Kids Toys!
In this video, I connected some interesting electric children's toys to the WANPTEK DC power supply using wires. I continuously applied increasing voltage to the toys, starting from 5V and going up to 30V. The resulting effects were both exaggerated and humorous. (Easter Egg at the End)

im a bit terrified but im not sure what part of it is the cause of that. maybe its - the fact that a bee stung dog toy exists - you can seemingly easily buy it - what happened with the gorilla to the point you had to tape its feet to the floor - what would happen without the tape - why you thought of doing any of this in the first place

So as a general rule, above 7 volts the sound hardware dies, the bee stung dog is somehow less disturbing at high voltages than normal, and at 30 volts the monkey bissects itself.

i'm pretty sure that's because once it reaches around 5 volts or higher the IC chip (which controls movements and trigger logic) just borks out entirely, and after then on the wires are directly connected to the motors

this is peak comedy to me sped up videos are already hilarious but the medium being physical elevates it to a whole nother level with them being able to suddenly break and whatnot also really nicely highlights how ingenious and geniously simple some of these toy designs are top it off with a nice mixture of scientific and cinematic framing 👌
