Attempting to prove what a book narrates with the same book is circular reasoning - It is a logical fallacy. If there was no angel. Then there was no revelation from an angel. And thus the Quran is man-made. The challenge is not about the Hera cave the challenge is about what happened inside the cave. According to the authentic biography of Mohammad, the first impression of his encounter with the entity in the cave was that he was demon-possessed. This story changes when he goes to Khadijah and her heretic Christian relative Waraqqa who convinces him that it was not a demon but the angel Gabriel just to calm him down from the tremendous trauma he faced.
