To play the long game. When you play the long term game the inevitable ups and downs along the way don't sway you as much and you learn to immediately just work on figuring out a solution for them instead of worrying so much.

great video brother! Couple key takeaways: 1. identifying limiting beliefs 2. Asking yourself: what would you do if you knew you couldn't fail? 3. understanding that success takes time (10 years) and it comes down to the simple, boring habits 4. Staying in Flow state to Live and be happy

@@vpena how you do that without owing some greedy a hole your soul or a big chunk of the business thus reducing the impact and warping the idea?
@vpena
@vpena 6 ай бұрын
@@CorporationSKY I guess that's a trade-off right? Try to analyze how long it is going to take you to get the 400k you need. If it's too long, then getting leverage from someone else's money and having them take the risk isn't a bad price to pay. To be honest, people overestimate the reach and value of their ideas. Also, not all investors are greedy, most want to get their money circulated to add a good enough return that will produce value. You do what it feels right for you.

This is gold and super sharp questions. We all know the power of compounding interest, but compounding effort is often overlooked. Couple that with rational, logical and well-cultivated self-belief to last through the long ride and we will get there, ultimately. Mr Weaver's talk on how to live an asymmetric life is also immensely powerful.

42:00 daily habits to do to actually grow: Know where you are - who are you at your very best, what are limiting beliefs, what is the story you're writing? Where you want to go - What do you actually want? What does success look like? - Decide what you'd do if you knew you wouldn't fail. - Think 5-10 years out, too many constraints in 1-2 years. - The 'how' is the killer of all great dreams How to get there - make a list of 30 things you can do to move towards that goal - list of 6 people that can help you on that - make a list of things you can read to help you on that - list of people who've done that thing before. Tactics of getting there are the easy part. It's being clear on where we're going and where we're starting from that most people miss. 29:30 pioneering innovation: What's not going well we need to fix? Where are bottlenecks, where are they breaking down? What's gonna kill us that we need to extinguish? Most importantly: What's going well that we can do more of and scale?
