I feel like the point of the story tho isn’t about “Gay” falling for “Straight”. Hear me out, I think it’s more about 2 People having an undeniable chemistry that even they cannot ignore. It’s not about gay or straight. It’s about 2 people finding that other person to love them the way they love other people. And it just so happens to be 2 boys that find that love with each other.

No, lorenzo is gay and found love in caito. Caito has been through heavy things. He hurt a guy and he was at the hospital. If he dies, caito would be in prison. His father was a horrible person and he found in lorenzo somebody who trully cares about him and his future, who forgives him for every f thing he does, like stealing his cell phone, breaking the line phone, stealling his moms money.... But he is not gay. He left to save being in prison when the guy died.

You're playing with your own heart when you try to get a straight guy to love you in a romantic way. He just isn't capable of it. You might get him to do some things once or twice under the right circumstances, but he's never going to fall in love with you. It's a very, very rare person who can see beyond the "plumbing" and fall in love with someone for who they are inside.

Beautiful! Depicts what many gay teens experience having feelings for someone but not sure how the other feels. It doesn’t seem like he. Feels the same way. The kiss scene says a lot. Bold move on one the young ones part, but although Cairo reaches out to him physically with a hug, and tells him he loves him, it is still not the same as the final scene shows. Congratulations to you the actors. A brilliant performance. I was able to feel their feelings.

I loved this film so much. I super identified with Lolo and would die to have someone like Caito come into my life... I really wish there was more to the story. I really became invested in both characters. One of my other favorite characters was the mom- she was amazing. On a side note- anyone else noticed the little brother was somewhat of a sociopath???

I know this is a wild concept...but books are things that now days have thousands and thousands of identical copies of. I understand the god like pedestal books had in the days of monks and scribes where there would be ONE copy per book. But the weird foaming at the mouth thing book worshipers do now...I dont get it.
