Acid and mushrooms have literally done more for my anxiety, depression and drug addictions in 3 months than 15+ years of therapy and rehab. Combo of micro dosing for a couple weeks and just having a major trip every Friday night. It has changed who I am fundamentally and I couldn’t be more thankful. Right. Ive always distanced myself frim my moms side of the family cause im the black sheep and i just dont relate to them and they don't know what drug addictions like. I got sober in 2015 from the demon that had a hold of me(Opioids) and been getting closer to them by proving i was ready to change. I recently for the last 7-8 weeks been tripping every Saturday night when my buddy get out of work after 10pm and a month ago got my hands on some pure crystal mdma and been candyflipping the last 3 or 4 weekends. Which next Saturday im just gonna take lsd. I get pretty good acid too, throughout the years ive tried "acid" whenever i heard someone has it. But until i took actual aciď in 2016. I was taking 25i and 2ci when i first started tripping and just 2 months ago i found a legit plug and gets sheets and has vials. Low and behold ive been knowing this guy for a couple of years cause he works at the smoke shop i get my kratom from every week and barely happen to find out he sells good acid. The first 2 times i bought from him i trippes by myself and basically acids built a good friendship so far hes been tripping every Saturday night at my place for like the last 6 weeks or so. Acids incredible and have openes my eyes and mind like crazy and until recently, whenever i would trip before it was never a steady thing. It would come and go but now i have a steady buddy that gets legit stuff.. I take 5 hits every weekend estimated 90~110ug per. Im not satisfied till i see pure color swirls of like static electricity or something. And seeing a outline of my whole body thats the same electrical swirling colors. Hard to explain but im gettin pretty use to trippin. Only thing I hate is the come up especially when i took mdma cause the high dose of lsd and 175mg of pure mdma cause its almost too intense until u get to peak then levels out.

I was, too. So, I'll share mine. I was addicted to meth for 3 years, and I would love to try this. I feel much better than I did 7 months ago, when I quit. I live in mexico, so the meth here is so cheap, especially for someone with a huge amount of money (versus a mexican income), a gram cost like 10 bucks. An oz for 100. But at a point, you become dysphoric with the meth, and you take it to live (literally, at this point it regulates your bowels and will kill you if you dont respect it, but don't ignore it. Enough just to stay awake through the day like a zombie. But then you want to be more awake, so you take more and then can't eat and you try to shit out nothing because you've become so confused by the overdosage you just took to feel normal. You cant wake up without it literally, sleeping 30 hrs after a binge just to binge more. I plan to do ayahuasca, as well. I want to heal as much as I can, and I believe I can get back to 💯

And a really effective thing, I don’t know what you’re going through, but every night just take a moment to review your day. If there is anything you would change, or “regret” make note of it and move on, trying to make small changes that amount to a huge difference ❤️

The hard truth about healing is that you have to stay sober and healthy, exercise, get outside, make those hard decisions and moves that you know you need to make but have been putting off. Nicely said. The hardest truth for me is that real positive shifts in self-development actually occur without the use of willpower. Every time I tried to use willpower, it turned out to be a form of neurosis. The changes seem to happen naturally only. Meditation has the property of a cumulative effect: at first nothing happens, then something starts to happen as if by itself.

I prefer the comparison of a proton (H+) to hydrochloric acid (HCl); although protons/hydrogen are/is damaging to the body as well, the notion still stands. However, in this context, the one atom difference is relevant; methamphetamine and the salts in adderall are very very similar in effect, unlike CO v CO2 or H+ v HCl

10:30 THIS! This is what's saved me from so much suffering. I've overcome years of panic attacks by becoming more and more used to this practice of giving myself permission to panic. BEST thing that's worked. Everything I tried before was a desperate attempt to banish the panic attack when I felt it coming on. To fight it tooth and nail with relaxation techniques, forcing myself to try and meditate and do deep breathing. Trying to calm myself was, counterintuitively, making them WORSE because I was essentially ignoring what my mind and body were telling me. One day, I felt one coming on and for some reason just thought, well, here we go. Let's do this. It's going to happen whether you like it or not, whether you fight it or not. You're going to FEEL the anxiety and shake it out on the bed (looks like a seizure or something when it's bad) and then it will end like it always does. It was a surrendering feeling. I let my mind spin. I let myself shake. I let my heart pound. I allowed it. And my mind did spin, my body did shake, and my heart did pound. I let it happen. I soon noticed that it wasn't getting as bad as it normally would. I realized that, in the past, the shakes and heart pounding were actually made worse by fighting them with deep breathes and focusing on trying not to shake and just "relax". Trying to stop it made it worse. When I just laid there and shook like it was what was supposed to be happening, instead of this horrible traumatic event, it started to fade very quickly. It didn't reach the excruciating peaks it used to and lasted a fourth or a third of the time. Within a couple minutes I felt totally fine. Calm, even. Rejuvenated. The next few times I felt one coming on I did the same thing. I gave it permission to grab my attention, take over, and work itself out. They got shorter and less intense each time. It's been well over a year now and I haven't had a single panic attack. It's worked with other things too. Pain, sadness, anger, etc. I realized I was making all these "negative" things worse by avoiding them or trying to put them out like a fire with things like substances, meditation, relaxation, distraction, etc. The REAL suffering was in the RESISTANCE to these difficult feelings. Feel your pain, people. It's yours. Let it flow through you. That pain is reality and it's good for you.

Yep, I’ve also been trying to spread this message. It’s because it’s our truths, the only thing we can confirm about ourselves is love,sex, food...or survival and reproduce. We’re in an age where we keep getting further and further away from our natural state and purpose. The discomfort simulates foraging and hunting and the food is the reward. The moment a baby is born they come in screaming, seeking love, food, and sleep. Honor these 3 truths and you’ll be amazed at the clarity and boundless energy you experience. Exercise in the sun for max benefits. -Mr. SmartCity

This video was randomly recommended to me and I thought it’d be interesting to learn about LSD while I eat some pizza. The first 3 minutes of this video hit me like a bus. I’ve been on adderall and more recently vyvanse since I was 11 because of my ADD and I’m at a point in my college career where interesting topics don’t fascinate me anymore and I’m completely unable to initiate studying and overall dedicating every second of my life and my mind to the stress of my school work while also somehow learning and accomplishing nothing. I’ve been thinking maybe I need to get on a different medicine bc I’m already maxed out on vyvanse. Without my meds, I’m a narcoleptic zombie with a bottomless pit for a stomach. I accomplish nothing, gain weight and feel terrible about myself, so that’s not an option. Then this random video I click on after a long day of exams and gives me more answers, insight, hope that I can be my normal self again than I ever thought possible and raises so many questions I’m excited to look into. I think I’m going to take up meditating and get off these meds so I don’t damage my brain even more. I’ve never left a comment on a video, but if you see this, thank you so much for your transparency and for sharing you journey and your knowledge. A million times thank you.

No it didn't, it's just going with the name that the scientist use to describe it. You're brain never said hey I'm calling myself brain. You were taught that that organ in your skull is called a Brian. Everything is taught to us or we learn things on our own. It's all an experience, however the brain really didn't become aware of itself until we learned what it was. When we were children we didn't conceive such a thing. We were aware of ourselves as a whole. But as a brain being an organ that controls the body it's every function and dictates what we experience through our senses. We weren't aware of this fact until we were taught. But I see the analogy the statement is trying to convey though.

Meditation is often misunderstood. People think they have to strain to clear their minds. That doesn't work. A very concise description of meditation is simply "zoning out". Yep, that's all it is. Thoughts spontaneously occur in a living brain -- no matter how hard you try to stop thinking, you're going to think anyway. Meditation is simply not bothering to grab onto thoughts and analyze them to their logical conclusion. Imagine your mind is your front yard and your thoughts are autumn leaves. You can chase down every leaf and stuff it in a garbage bag, but there will always be more leaves blowing in from elsewhere. Just sit down and watch the leaves until they blow away. That's all meditation is.

Accept the thoughts. Atleast thats it for me. My brain is way to active. I have way to many thoughts. To many things popping up in my mind. But i never saw this as something bad. Instead it helped me alot. So I agree with what you say. As far as i know meditation actually means deep thinking sort of. So deep that it feels like you are in it. It's also the core of many knowledge. Look inside yourself is probably a good way to put it.

Very true. Once we can pick out the difference between our own thoughts... And other layers of consciousness... Interesting things will happen... Without one intending to do so... And the nature of consciousness and time and space will start to reveal it's mysteries.
@danieljmarvin
@danieljmarvin 3 жыл бұрын
It's about paying attention to what you are focusing on and noticing the contents and nature of the subjective conscious experience. Hopefully, you'll notice that you actually don't control your thoughts and by extension anything you do. We are just happening. And, I don't agree. One can definitely meditate on the content of their thoughts and follow them through. Most of the time, people talking about "being stuck in your head" as a negative thing when the contents of your thoughts are excessively preoccupied with thoughts about the past and future. The only real thing is the present. Even when thinking about the past or future, that is still happening in the present. Being actively involved in contemplating actual ideas is not negative. Contemplating the nature of e or pi is living in the present, but the present that is in your thoughts. One can also notice that there are many things appearing consciousness but they are focusing on just one of those things. Noticing what one is noticing is the key to living an examined life in my opinion. Learning that focus does NOT mean analysis of thought is so important. At its core, there is no actual difference between hearing a sound in my head and hearing a sound from my ears. I am not in control of either. Focus/experience is the true mystery of consciousness. My heart beating is automated, why not experience too?

MAR TE Believe it. I’ve also struggled with addiction since I was 16. I started with NA about two years ago 6 months in I relapsed. 6 more months I relapsed again. I was dealing with ptsd and depression and was about to relapse again during the COVID lock down. I decided on ayahuasca instead of my doc(drug of choice) which was heroin, meth, and Xanax and I can’t put into words how profound the experience was. It change me big time. I dealt with a lot of old emotions and past trauma and it showed me how I was creating my own hell but in a much deeper way than I had known before. It showed me that I chose to be here where I was and I was exactly where I was supposed to be. Everything truly does happen for a reason. I’ve lost so many friends and family members including my own sister to the disease of addiction and I feel funny saying this but It showed me that I’m here to help people. I’m still in the beginning of this journey and I still have much to learn and much to share. As long as I stay this path things are going to be ok. I never thought I’d feel this way ever again without antidepressants.

I really like that you addressed the fact that you didn't _just_ microdose for a while thinking that would be enough to change your life by itself. You were also meditating (thankfully, as the video describes,) as well as a lot of other important practices, and that's the key to improving one's life: an actual spiritual practice. I think a lot of people shy away from the idea of a spiritual practice because they mistakenly confuse the idea of spirituality with religion, or a spiritual practice with religiosity. Elephants are gray, but not all gray things are elephants. Religion is a spiritual practice, but not all spiritual practices are religion/religious. It's not surprising that a person, any person, who's very invested in social culture can vastly improve their life and mind state by stepping back from that unnatural amalgam of manmade, unnatural, affected, arbitrary, external rules and reward systems, and start to focus on their own wellbeing and spiritual needs and real, internal, natural reward systems (in a healthy and balanced way,) and focus on what they actually need, work that they actually need to do instead of what their culture wrongfully says they need or should want. Culture is not your friend, and the best way to be happy is to put in the relatively easy and minor work required to attend to your own, real needs. The Bhagavad Gita frames work as a privilege in life, and it's not wrong. We in the west only have a negative connotation for the word "work" because we associate it with jobs, bosses, unhappy hours spent away from home, etc., but that's not what the word "work" really means, that's just one relatively new, usually very negative, unenjoyable, often poorly compensated timesink of an example. Work just means "the process of getting through some kind of challenge." And 100% of the most valuable things in life come from challenges. All of them.

Gazzy Garcia if you spend too much time on your phone, put your phone down and get shit done around the house/errands that you’ve been putting off. Very little things that give you a sense of accomplishment. Also start journaling, I try doing it every day. Writing how I feel, what I try to get done that day, whatever’s on my mind, etc. putting your thoughts and goals on paper brings it to life, you just end up getting more shit done and feel like you’re in control in life rather than time passing you by

@DJFaNaTiiC
@DJFaNaTiiC 3 жыл бұрын
Gazzy Garcia honestly I just start it by how I’m feeling, a recap of what I did the day before or if I’m writing at night what I did that day, then I’ll write down the same goals or new errands to keep fresh on my mind. Just don’t think too much about it, you’re writing it for yourself so just write down what’s real to you and whatever you see for your near future. Take it a day at a time, don’t think too much about what’s coming later on. Just try to conquer each and every day that comes

Suffered years from crippling OCD. One day of mushrooms practically healed years worth of trauma. In just one day. I still have a residue of the OCD triggers but I no longer act on them and it has been beautiful. I truly believe mushrooms can help with depression and completely believe that they work. And it's true what they say. Do not fight the trip, the harder you fight it, the harder it fights back. Even when it opens doors you don't want it too, look in, take a peek. Like he says, there's a reason it's being revealed.

Those 3 simple activities are amazing at regulating and stimulating your endocrine system, and avoiding social media in general is a good idea if you want to maintain good mental health. Maybe meditating might help as well, studies have shown it to improve depressed moods, anxiety and overall stress, and focus along with stimulating activity and growth in the prefrontal cortex.

I agree with the uncomfortable feelings doing this. I'd say it's largely uncomfortable without a good meditation practice like you're saying, and it's a really good insight that you allow them in and really dig into the negative emotion. I do have to wonder if the meditation practice supersedes the microdosing, it's such a powerful practice. The sleep (in the sense that you're doing it in accordance to a "natural" circadian rhythm) and exercise schedule are super good too. My thoughts are that microdosing is a good catalyst to healthy behavior that really creates change. I will say the psychedelics boost creativity fully on their own, which makes sense based on the way that they change (going to sound ignorant here, I don't understand neurology as it pertains to this well) the pathways through which your brain processes thoughts. One thing I've found, and this pretty much pushes on superstition, is that it really helps inter-personally, and from my experiences it's like you're more tuned into a collective consciousness which helps. This is obviously speculation and kinda "hippy shit" but I have a hard time letting go of the thought after what I've been through. There's a more realistic scenario in which the minor ego dissolution provides the opportunity for better relationships just due to the fact that self interest at a certain threshold become prohibitive to the purity, so to speak, of interactions with others. Anyway, I enjoyed the video, the fringe science of it all is really cool. Your approach was really solid mixing LSD and Psilocybin to account for the rapid tolerance developed to psychedelics.
