@@buffsqueak2427 shouldnt, you need around 100 days before you can switch communist or fascist and the first justification needs around 230 days. so it is possible if the soviets for some reason don't have an army, low stability and war support and you have division sped to conquer all victory points quick. otherwise it's impossible. but end of 1937 should be possible if you are a pro i think. maybe legit burger finds a way, or the guy who tells m3an the speedrun strategies

@Vaipts I should have specified but I meant without spending time to switch ideology, as that alone fails the challange. Nonetheless, Iran probably(as I've never played it) has a small starting army and a weak industry, but the problem is the huge Soviet army. You can easily take any major nation on if they don't have enough divisions for every tile. The Soviets on the other hand start with more than 100 divisions which are good enough to destroy any spam divisions. Maybe it can be achievable later on but 1 year or even 2 definitely isn't enough, if you have to capitulate them during the 2 year period . But if I think about it you could just paradrop into France and annex half of Europe in around a year to then attack from there, assuming you start fascist/communist.

THIS ISNT ABOUT "HOI4 IS UNREALISTIC THEREFORE IS BAD" the whole reason I play ze game is althistorical toomfoolery But: I feel like the politics in hoi4 are just so broken, like most alt history paths are so impossibly unrealistic. Ex: I can see how turkey might have a civil War about İslam and the sultante considering the times politics but how in the kingdom of Albania do they so easily core greece yugoslavia etc... Because last time I checked those countries and peopple have been feeling opressed, exploited and had rebellions for half a milennia Tho I guess some of them can be explained by "you arent the leader of the country but the spirit of it"(if you are playing as Stalin why would you print satisfactory output data and purge your generals). I really wish they added better diplomocy and politics. I mean I really liked the fact that greece can call in the Sevr signerories (UK france Italy etc) to attack turkey together.
