It happened so fast! I would definitely go for the packed backing tier if I could afford it, it’s so worth it. I might try and back a really small amount or just wait for the release, but nonetheless, I’m so excited as well!

I’d love to see you have another go at this when the conditions are more suitable! It would be cool to see you paint an illusion with the reflection on water maybe? Maybe painting a ghostly figure reflected on the surface of a pond, where when you stand there it looks like your own reflection?

This kind of painting was used in film for quite some time. They used to paint on glass to shape the foreground or the background of the shot. It was kinda like .PNG file placed on top of the footage. I think this would make a nice follow-up video!

Exactly what I was thinking, he should try old fashioned real matte painting. Would also be interesting to see him add characters to a real background with the same technique, as a fun twist.

Not nearly as practiced* so gtfo there and practice! If you wanna try something go do it! Just get those real life experience points if you gather enough I promise you'll level up! (I hope this is inspiring and not mean I just want you to know you can do it and it'll be worth it)

They say it takes 10,000 hours to master something. That's maybe 4-5 years of full time dedication to it. If you think "I can't do it so I'm not even going to try" then you're not going to progress and grow your skills. That's 0 hours toward 10,000

I've been searching for an art supply bag that's sufficiently large for YEARS and backed a kickstarter for one.. and that one's alright but still not big enough. Maybe this new bag will be what I'm looking for 👀 edit: also a tip, for a good opaque travel paint I recommend gouache! Even when dry you can get amazing color salutation, I love it

Isn't acrylic water based also? I could be wrong since I don't use acrylic but if it is then can't you just reactive it with water

@@yourparalysisdemon1936Technically yes, but you can’t reactivate acrylic with water. Gouache can be deactivated with water, like water color. So even if it dries on the pallet you can still use it by adding water.

Would love to see a follow up with this technique :) outdoor lighting does seem really tricky. Perhaps more indoor explorations? I’m thinking of a library, coffee shop, etc?

Your Kickstarter is going up in 10s of 1000s at a time! Woohooo! I think you should try doing a larger piece, up to 6x6 inches, it might make it easier to blend and paint rapidly as the size will be a bit bigger :)

I love that you had some really cool ideas about doing this effect in a cemetery, respectfully decided that it wasn't okay to utilize the final resting place of random strangers as a way to create content, and left that bit in during your editing. Hopefully more content creators see that being a decent person and being a successful content creator aren't contradictory conditions. Thanks for being a good example.

The last one was really cool when you would jump across from one side to another! Reminds me of a video I saw quite some time ago where this guy would wrap a few feet of plastic around the trunk of a tree and he would paint what you would see if the tree wasn't there. It was crazy looking!

So cool how you Jazza'd up the last painting! 😄This looked sooo difficult! Doing this in a city might be a bit easier if you can back up into a shadowy corner where the wind isn't so ruthless. Also congrats on reaching the treshold for the Carry-all Studio; wáy ahead of scedule 🥳Which is only fair, because I'm exited for one of those to become my new travel bag 🙏 Hopefully in Prussian Blue 🥰

So cool to see the behind the scenes of this trend! It would be entertaining to see another like this, with a portal painted on the left and right, throw ingredients in one side, and a cake comes out the other! I never would have predicted to have so many troubles.... the edited timelapse makes it took so smooth!

To Jazza, My favorite thing about these videos is that you show us your process: how you just jump into things headlong AND THEN you make a method to the madness 😂… I love it though because it really helps reinforce that anyone is capable of this stuff, but their first attempt definitely won’t be perfect, and even the next two or three attempts may not. From a much less experienced artist who has been watching your content for a few years, thank you Jazza. Keep doing what you’re doing.
