Ruleset:
1) If a Pokemon Faints, it dies
2) You can only catch one Pokemon per route
3) You have to nickname all Pokemon
4) No items in battle
5) No overleveling the next gym leader's ace

Losing Gyarados and Staraptor in the same fight must have hurt a lot. Cool ending with Garnet taking out Chomp though

@@EZDoodles Look at Cyrus's team in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, his Honchkrow has a scope lens and Super Luck, meaning that all of his attacks (especially Night Slash) crit.

That ending. What a sacrifice! Crazy respect for that play, well done. Also, that Honchkrow was also a super luck Honchkrow carrying a scope lens using a boosted crit rate move, so night slash crits 100% of the time. So that's why that Cyrus fight was so hard, and why your intimidates were worthless.

Sinnoh games are one of my favorites to nuzlocke. You can get all the standards at once like Bidoof, Starly, Shinx, Budew and Magikarp before the first gym meaning thats alot more duplicates so you can get different

I won't lie. Seeing you lose Sushi and Oreo to Cyrus hurt cuz that's exactly what happened to me during my first nuzlocke on Shining Pearl. I forget that Honchcrow has Super Luck Ability and I think it's Zoom Lens that increases the chance critical hits. Essentially making Honchcrow always crit with Night Slash. Also Stardew made me respect Roserade even more than I already did. Garnet made sure no one else had to die to Garchomp. Congrats on your win. You've played very well.

I have just got to say this. I Am INCREDIBLY amazed at how well you handled this nuzlocke. Im sure it wasnt easy, but at the same time for all the rules you set for yourself, you did extrodinarily well! Even on normal play it took me over 30 times to beat cynthia. I mean what can I say, you thought it through, you utilized your team to their strengths!! Well done!!!

I really loved this. You made it very tense in the end and I thought you might lose. I lost my nuzlock run of brilliant diamond kinda hardcore because I allowed item like potions but I never use the x-items, even when I was a kid playing blue for the first time. I did level cap though and lost 2 pokemon before Cynthia and got my ass handed to me. All respect to you, I love seeing people get into the same things as me

Coming from the emerald one a couple months ago. DAAAAAMMMNN i can SEE the improvement. Not only in the art and visuals but your nuzlocking skill as well. I kinda dropped my Shining pearl Locke precisely for the reason that i got through half the game with only 2 deaths. And they weren't even deaths to major challenges. One was a death to a wild geodude's self destruct and the other was because Joycon drift forced me into the wrong move

Loved this video, it reminded me of another KZfaqr that animates and did a couple of nuzlocks. It's been a while since I've seen Steven Universe but I didn't remember Garnet's glasses having three points, I thought one of the fusions did. Roserade has been my favorite as well, especially for that generation. So well done and going to subscribe for this, it was very entertaining. 👍

That finale is immaculate. Roserade for the come back and Golem leading to a climatic finish was beautiful. After my Shiny Only Run, I hope my Nuzlocke ends as well as yours did. You handled this challenge really well considering this E4 and Champion’s Buffs

thank you! I really thought I was going to lose to cynthia. If she stayed in the first time I think I would have lost because her roserade was faster than mine, but that switch she did to spiritomb saved me (and confused me LOL). I think it's because it knew psychic but whatever we take those

@@EZDoodles Funnily Enough My Shiny Only Run has a Shiny Graveller I found, so mayhaps in the spirit of Garnet will Detonate in front of the Garchomp. You know if I ever get to leave Spear Pillar. Your Champion Battle was climatic regardless, there is some luck on that switch but you cleverly found a way to make it through despite how tough of a fight she would be for any competitive team with this level cap

Oh, EZDoodles, you just needed one more rule to make it a Hardcore Nuzlocke, and that is permanent Set mode.
