I went through a jaw surgery and I got that huge swelling like Haney. It was 100% a broken jaw. See how Devin won't be fighting in 2024, because the jaw takes 10 to 12 months to fully heal

I don’t think his jaw was broken. I believe his lower cheek bone swelled. When that happens it swells the part of the cheek right underneath. I’ve had both happen. Sucker punched both times on 2 different occasions.

And fight night Haney shot up to 155 And ryan probably 160 for a measily 5 lb heavier which really isn't going to make a difference. Haney almost always outweighs his opponents by way more than this margin and is just a weight bully but it wasn't brought up until someone looks bigger than haney. Tank weight drained and smacked a reydration clause cause he was scared of ryan. So yea Ryan was weak against tank, but haney was not weak against ryan, haney just isn't as good as people think.

When they cut weight those last few pounds are the hardest to lose and you gotta put your body through hell. Not having to lose those last 3 pounds would make some difference.

But Garcia knew what he was doing by not making weight. He never once talked in the build up about winning the belt. So he wanted Haney cutting weight, while he was never gonna cut weight and then gained more weight before the ring walk. Tank knew Garcia a fool, so they put the hydration clause in. Garcia more about clout, not about belts!

I was pretty sure his performance against Tank was from the clause and now I know it was. Forget the results, just look at how different his reaction times were in the fights which is exactly what being dehydrated causes - it slows down everything. Reaction time, resilience to punches especially body/liver shots, punch power, really everything. Imagine trying to fight at an elite level with a severe hangover... That's EXACTLY what being dehydrated is.
