16:39 Unexpected Laplus translated clip. Thank you so much for doing so! I genuinely appreciate this because my oshi barely gets clipped anymore and that's sad, which is why I became a clipper in the first place despite having only been a fan for barely a year. In fact, I was planning on clipping this moment myself but I always struggle with procrastination and depressive tendencies and the fact ALL of her Twitch streams are deleted makes things much, MUCH worse than they should be and it's honestly disheartening. I truly enjoy myself whenever I start editing but one can't help but feel a bit stressed out because of the lack of archives (even though I do store them myself). Translating also is very time-consuming for me, especially since I'm not too familiarized with Japanese and try my hardest to make it as correct as possible. All of my clips are subtitled into English and Spanish. However and despite everything, the overall process is very gratifying for me. Whenever I finish another video, I feel like I accomplished something in life as an individual for once. If only she remembered to archive her streams, things would be much more convenient for everyone, especially clippers like me. 😩 It's honestly baffling how no one in Cover has realized this, especially since it's been almost a year since she made her decision to stream primarily on Twitch by this point. I hope this issue gets noticed and resolved someday 🙏. So many great moments, all of them forever gone from her channel and only rewatchable by non-profit third parties. It's not a conscious decision either, there are times in which Laplus has shown concern about the time limit of her content. For the record, other holomem do stream on Twitch and most of their VoDs are saved under highlights. Even Laplus did that once, but she's so forgetful she might not even eat for an entire day. 😰 Anyways, thank you if you actually read this, I usually tend to go overboard in the comments, sorry. I've seen a few of your vlogs before, they're fun! ^^

Hey, I'm a Twitch partner. On Twitch, you only have to turn on "Save VODs" once and it'll stay on. If you're a partner, your VODs will be automatically deleted after 6 months (I think it's 2 months for affiliates?), there's nothing you can do about that, other than manually upload every single VOD to KZfaq. Twitch has a built-in tool for that, but you need to know where it is and know about it in the first place, and then do it manually.

I've noticed clippers these days have gone from being dedicated to their few oshis to just quick clipping major events or making thumbnail bait. The quality ones are few and far between now. Enjoy your clipping! I'll check out some of what you have.

@@Toki-jm2kb I meant to say Laplus doesn't get as many clips as she used to in the past, probably because of her decision to stream primarily on Twitch or the fact she's not as active as other holomem, which may cause her to be left aside or just plain forgotten sometimes. It was especially bad last year. Absolutely NO ONE was clipping her between September and early November. 0 clips. Nada. And the fact all of her Twitch streams get constantly deleted after the time limit, a grave issue that still hasn't been dealt with even today, makes the lack of clips so much more worrying compared to other members. And before you say anything regarding the VoDs, there are many ways you can save them on your Twitch channel. I personally believe it's important the fanbase knows how Laplus is doing; as she's one of the more unusual and unique holomem and her mental health wasn't doing great for a long while. Thankfully she's much happier now.🥹

The translated clip of Laplus and the meetup afterwards were my favorite parts. I always wondered about those fan shrines with merch. Does one person start then everyone joins in putting their stuff or is it agreed upon all at once? When there is a lot of stuff, is there difficulties retrieving items?

At 5:00 ish we see jersies for the girls, with numbers. I learned from Pokémon Sword/Shield that these numbers can work as shorthand in Japanese, and 17 literally spells i-na and 96 ku-ro. What I don't understand is what Towa's 108 and La+'s 05 are supposed to spell. Would someone mind enlightening me?

Gorowase (Japanese wordplay) is what all of these are called. For Towa, from what I understand, reading 108 right to left says "eito ō wan" or "eitowan" which is as close as they can get to Towa. I'm half sure she might said something around liking that number (?)

Also, respect for taking the time to dig up zatsu clips (e.g.16:42) from their streams re: HoloMeet, it works really well for those segments where you can't film, definitely I'd love to see carried forward whenever you next make it to a concert or the like, it's relevant, entertaining, informative, and it preserves the chronological sense of continuity. Ah man! The Holo TCG is going to hit so hard for events like this, we'll see people waiting in line or at tables playing and trading cards, and it'd be really cool if they had event-specific cards made for various collaborations. Cheap to produce, limited edition, commemorative functional gaming merch? I guess they don't call it cardboard crack for nothing. Everyone would buy more than one too, so they had cards to trade at the big fan get-togethers.
