the code is used to indicate beacons which will allow you to have a weapon plan. namely that there are 4 codes one of these codes appears in each game if you want to know how to watch tutorials

The backpack you investigated gave 4 coordinates. All 4 locations will be underwater where you will have to search for a QR looking code. Always on a wall or similar structure, underwater. Good luck.
