Dealing with those vassals could've been a lot easier to deal with if you went with polygamy for the marriage doctrine. Each time you die and vassals start to get angry you can just secure four alliances one for each of the most powerful vassals. Of course this really requires your military be self sufficient, but other than that it's the best way I've found for dealing with factions since allies can't join factions against you. Also I can't remember if new Christian faiths have the access to the warmonger tenant, but if they do it'll give you the conquest and invasion casi belli as well as getting rid of the offensive war opinion debuff and instead turns it into a debuff for being at peace for too long. I think it's six months of peace time before vassals start getting angry.

oh damn thats actually smart! Will 100% start using that haha! Also Yeah wasnt able to get Warmonger which was the biggest issue i faced! But if i ever do something similar again will be avoiding any faiths without that tenet!

lol restoring roman empire is truly broken lol more broken then people think when i did it i played tall at the start and by the time i got bored of it i was making over 900 gold a month.. would love to see you do a roman series starting out as a count with and brining back the old religion too i think that would be fun little series before new dlc drops

You can rack it past 1k if you play in india. Damn crazy buildings there and wicked sick farmlands! You can also make most powerful MAA regiments in that region i believe. Wind furnaces give alot of extra damuush for your troops and these buildings come as an extra to what you got everywhere else. I havent seen these buildings anywhere else but there?! I started with norse character on the southern tip of India and hybridised the culture. These varangian vets are going to be bat$hit crazy murder machines with all those support buildings:D Anyway, plenty of farmlands there where you can build manor houses/farms and fields/windmills/water wheels/wind furnaces and cap it off with blacksmiths that give %value extra income from holdings. At end game 1 holding alone produces over 50gold a month and you can have alot of holdings at that point! Interestingly enough, forming a new religion out of indian religions in combination with norse you can have access to warmonger tenet, your vassals will go berserk and conquer the world for you. (not really sure if you have to be norse for that to work or its just available for indian religions?) I had to do very little to have controll of half the map by the year 1200. Mostly what i did myself is create the empire of India, from there on out, vassals just declare never ending holy wars to everybody! Its like watching a black death creeping across the map (colour of my empire happened to be black:) It can backfire if maintained poorly though, many vassals grow very powerful controlling very large armies but fortunately for us, that region comes with quite alot of bonuses that keeps vassals quite happy... SEVEN holy sites for instance, that happen to be within your empire!

I did this same thing but started as a custom character in Leon (Brittany). Then formed the Empire of France, then eventually Rome...then the world.

You should look into theocratic vassals mate. Feels like it's only me that uses them on this game. They never rebel & give huge amounts of gold. I get 550 gold per month & I only own the UK with theocratic vassals.
