I just saw you in Lawrence, KS on Saturday night and you were all amazing! I hadn't seen Brooke perform with you before and was absolutely blown away!!! She is a superstar! Thank you for coming - your music seriously got me through some very low times during COVID/work from home and serious life challenges so seeing you perform live was a bucket list item. I wanted to tell your manager to please along the message that you all are lifesavers but there was a line behind me for merch. I hope you know how special you all are and what an amazing experience witnessing you make music together is. I will be sporting my new Scary Pockets trucker hat proudly as I cruise down Mass. That girl is Tal Wilkenfeld, among many very important artists, she's mostly known for playing the bass for Jeff Beck for a few years and toured with him up until his passing.

Agree. One of the reasons I also enjoy The Consouls - they mostly record live as a band so it's all one take and raw live energy (the instrumental solos are incredible!).

This is the quintessential example of a well-executed cover, especially one in the Scary Pockets vein. Driven by a strong, commanding spirit on vocals. Arrangement is faithful, yet unique with tasteful additions. Superb interaction between the rhythm section and keys/guitar. So much harmony and musical connection with everybody. Brooke just carried the song to a different level. Definitely reminiscent of Anne Wilson from Heart
