Technically The Smiling Friends Go To Brazil isn't the season finale, it's a special that aired to troll viewers into thinking they were actually staying in Brazil.

If you still care to know Shy Guy, Mardi Gras is a festival celebrated before Ash Wednesday, French for "Fat Tuesday" where you just party and binge before fasting. Mardi Gras is commonly celebrated in the ethnically French American cities like New Orleans. But in Brazil, it's called Entrudo, which is part of Carnival.

Mr Frog didn't actually say anything, they just has a lot of "sssssssssssssssssssss" and then bleeped it out to let your imagination do the work. Also, the bit in Frowning Friends where he said about the Puerto Ricans is a joke between them all, since the guy who did the voice for the strange-headed man ("I actually wanted to kill all the Puerto Ricans") is their friend Lyle Rath... who is Puerto Rican. :D

Also the bit in the Christmas episode where old Glep says "yes son, Hell is real, and Christianity was right all along. Sorry." was voiced by Josh tomar who is actually Jewish 😂

yknow what I realized about Mr. Frog? They weren't upset that he tried to eat the TMZ reporter, they were upset that he FAILED to. Notice how when he successfully ate the big producer, they went wild? :V

I feel like if anything Christians WOULDNT like that joke. He goes "yes Christianity is real and so is hell, sorry" sort of a negative joke on Christianity. Its not that offensive all around tho imo.

That line is a joke about how in the show all other religions are proven wrong from Charlie’s experience in hell. Also it’s a meta joke since old Glep is voiced by Tomar who is Jewish.

I'm Christian and I didn't mind it. It's just a joke, I don't think there's any agenda behind it. A lot of Christians do get easily offended by stuff like that so I can't speak for everyone, but I have no issue with it.

I don’t see much love for it but just imo the mip shit was the subversion of the “oh everything is a typical fantasy quest” shit that the “land of fantasy” was working towards, and at the end switching the conflict to be an extremely modern and succinct “this shit happens all the time irl and you understand exactly how much this matters” situation is genius imo .

The kid is like “that’s a great story is it actually true?” and Glep is like “yep Christianity was right all along, sorry.” Nothing is implying they’re Jewish. Now if you mean the writers made/had a Jewish friend and that’s why they’re apologizing, then fine I get that. But that’s not how the scene reads.
