@@kontonChikyuif you don't want to hear people bitching about shit, being involved in any way in a lawsuit or criminal case is a bad idea. Because most lawsuits and all criminal cases start with some sort of a "complaint".

So glad the Lincoln Lawyer is finally recognised by the Algorithm. As a lawyer myself it actually won me by depicting lawyers actually working late in a TV show and what they do (researching, cracking open books, finding obscure legal precedents for the very specific thing that you have to deal with, etc.)

@@satrok7490 I agree and that's because it's a TV show and some concessions need to be made but I would say that it is much more authentic than say Suits when it comes to the legal profession.

Agreed, the Lincoln Lawyer movie was what made me choose law (McConaughey was great), and now Manuel Garcia-Rulfo is killing it too.

Hey, that judge is the actor for Colonel Harlan in 68 Whiskey. That was a great show, hated it got canceled. Love Harlan's/this judge as an actor too.

To the prosecutor it’s a game. “I want to win” not “I want for the guilty to be punished” that’s why every couple of months you hear another story about a guy on death row for 10 years about to be executed despite the evidence showing they didn’t even commit the crime. Cause some prosecutor hid that detail from the public til they are preparing to put the needle in the prisoners arm. If you *KNOWINGLY* send an innocent man to jail by hiding evidence you should serve the same sentence they did at the same prison they did.

IRL, this is a bit similar to the Baldwin case, and the judge might even rule a mistrial on the basis that there was clearly due diligence that was not done by the state.

Actually it was Micky who had tunnel vision. He stopped looking for answer once he fixed his opinion that Trevor is not guilty. Did not dig deep enough what exactly he did in those 7 minutes.

The argument here is that their evidence is insufficient and left out important details. The defense is just trying to show there’s reasonable doubt.

The Lincoln lawyer inherited the case from another deceased lawyer to represent a super rich dude that allegedly killed his wife during an affair and was arrested at the scene. LL was calling a witness to press the idea that the wife wasn't the target but the guy that she was sleeping with and therefore shift blame of the murder to another person who's wife was also sleeping with the dead wife's lover.

Another lawyer died/was killed. His cases got dumped into that defense attorney’s lap. Also, from what someone else said, the evidence he is trying to bring forth/add - which the judge allows to happen - only came forth during the trial.

We can all say now after reading all the texts and notebooks that giving the kid a gun was a bad idea, but i don't believe that the parents thought their kid might be a possible school shooter. Parents usually see their kids in a good light so i think its a bit of a stretch to say they should of seen this coming.

All a game that has lifetimes worth of potential due to miscarriage of Justice from two sides that don’t want to lose. Not based on justice or actual investigation. Who could charm an audience and all types of logic games being played.
