I Bought 100's Of AXOLOTLS For My AQUARIUM! is an INSANE video where I came up on HUNDREDS Of AXOLOTLS from a friend and now I'm tasked with RAISING an axolotl ARMY! I've never kept axolotls before so this will be a challenge and will require a lot of work but I do have a lot of freshwater fishkeeping and fish aquarium experience! I've kept aquarium fish such as oscar fish, cichlids, planted tanks, tetras, discus and all sorts of nano fish before but in this video we ALSO SET UP a NEW GUPPY TANK and a BACKYARD POND for a couple different guppie strains! Huge thanks to my friend Phil for breeding these axolotls and giving me a chance to start a guppy pond and breed guppies for my friends and I!
If you enjoyed I Bought 100's Of AXOLOTLS For My AQUARIUM! and would like to see more videos like it, please like the video, subscribe to the channel and turn on post notifications so you don't miss any of my future UPLOADS!

Rob, if you were smart you’d start a new channel and call it “Rob’s Army of the Slaying Axolotls”! You could do 2-3 ten minute update videos of the Axolotls as they grow to adulthood, then build a cult following of your regular subscribers in addition to all the Axolotl super fans out there. It really could grow into something very cool without detracting from your regular channel. Additionally, you can continue to update your regular channel with info about the progress of the Axolotls (plus include info about subscribing to the slaying Axolotl page each episode/video). Many of the most successful VLOGGERS on KZfaq have more than one channel, and this would truly be a great reason for you to do the same. There are far more channels that cover fish (and/or fish related matters, supplies, and fishing/cast netting/trapping sea animals or freshwater wildlife) than channels that only cover Axolotls (or one animal or topic). It’s just an idea, but I think it’s a really smart one to help you build a much larger following. You can become the Axolotl King as you build and raise your “SLAYING AXOLOTL ARMY”! 🔥🔥🔥

Rob, I used to keep and breed these years ago and can confirm that the bigger babies will eat the smaller ones. Unless you give them lots of room or separate them they will reduce the number you have down drastically. Only the big ones will survive. They can regenerate feet and gills that have been bitten off but this is obviously not ideal. They will take Daphnia and Tubifex as they get bigger. Big ones like earthworms.

They do. Hence why they are only found in one area of the world. They will die outside in fl. The "axolotls" they catch are most likely eastern tiger salamanders in larvae phase. If these are true axolotls they won't make it long above 60°s

Hey rob i wouldnt keep the axolotls in the bottles cos when u feed them the water will turn to ammonia from uneaten food and bbs lose their nutruitional value day after they hatch, no filtration best leave in tank and give them enough food and then they womt predate on each other they might bite hand off but its ok they grow back ive got breeding pair and learning myself or u could keep in big plastic tubs and do daily water changes with no filtration they like it cold and dark and use seachem concentrated contioner is best as others aquasafes arent to good. Good luck 👍

Also its best keeping them in long shallow water they wont like tall botlles of water as they would normally be at bottom of lakes in wild as its colder which amazes me when u guys catch them in florida heatin the marshes so ur tank is best as its filtered trust me i learnt alot this year from @frankiesaquatics shame he doesnt breed or do anymore youtube videos as hes partially blind alot like axolotls thought id share that with you best let them thrive not just survive like some people keep their bettas hey.

I don't know if Coy fish eat Guppies, but if you have Goldfish, which looks like you have, you can kiss those Guppies goodbye. Guppies are food to a Goldfish. You should never put Guppies in a pond or put them with Goldfish. Guppies are tank animals to begin with as they are EXTREMELY hard to keep alive. If they do live, just note because they survive or any animal survives doesn't mean their happy. I been looking into a lot about fish and Axolotls as I hope to have a few tanks when I'm older. I hope what I say will improve what your trying to do. It's fine to have a lot of fish, but please, please be sure you are doing EXTENDED amount of research. From the sound of it you know a good bit, but it doesn't hurt to double check or look into it much further. Just a side note Axolotls are hard pets to keep. They are HIGHLY sensitive to a lot of things. Also with Axolotls you shouldn't put them in ponds. The water quality might be too poor for them to live in and could result in a lot of d*ad Axolotls. Another thing is don't have a huge group of them either. You can have 2 in a tank, but make sure it's big enough for the both of them. But in a tiny pond? You're creating a battle ring. In other words they'll accidently eat each other. They are half blind and cannot see very well. Which is why Axolotls eat each other. Speaking of food...Axolotls are not that capable to feed themselves. Axolotls need to be tong/hand fed when they start to get bigger. If you are putting them into a pond make sure the water doesn't get too hot or it'll k*ll them. Axolotls need be be kept in rather cold water. About 59-65 degrees Fahrenheit. Also NEVER put them with other fish as the fish could hurt them or the Axolotl will consider the fish as free food. Another tip in case you don't know, please, please, please NEVER put sucker fish in a tank with Axolotls. They will latch onto the Axolotl and eat the slime coat they produce to protect their skin. Sucker fish are good to have, but NEVER in a tank with Axolotls. I also want to add that your Guppy tank with the Mollies may be a bit too crowded. Not too entirely sure, but I like to say, just because an animal survive doesn't mean their happy. I know you see a lot of overcrowding in pet stores and such, but note that pet stores set up bad examples when it comes to pet fish. Most fish d*e in pet stores before they even get bought as a pet. I do HIGHLY RECOMMEND you do more research. It seems like you do know some of what your doing, but you also are guessing at the same time. So please, if you want the best for all your pets, please take some time to do more Extended Research on them. Otherwise good luck with everything! Hope everything turns out well in the end for you and your pets!
