Can you please help me out. If I wanted to sell a cover call I have to own 100 shares of the company to sell 1 contract call. If I wanted to make money on the premium when the contract expires when its out of the money. How do I sell my order? I'm confused with sell to open, and sell to close order??

@@francisb.9212 once you have 100 shares, you pick a contract date, select a strike price and the order type is “sell to open” .... after that, you can let the contract expire... OR if the contract falls in value sooner than the expiration date, you can “BUY to close” and exit the contract with most of the profit, taking the risk off the table.
