Definitely worth $2,500. Sell the two Lincolns and use the proceeds to turn the Roadmaster into a muscle sedan.

As Jason nows, ive got an 05 Marquis and recently bought a 98 Town Car Signature with 83K miles from Georgia. I live across the international bridge from him, and i totally trust his opinion on these old beauties ( he does the work on mine). While i love the Panthers, my favorite car ive ever owned was my 1995 Cadillac Fleetwood. These mid 90s GM sedans had a really great body style, powerful motors, and feel like your on a cloud. The Roadmasters were just as comfy as the Cadillacs. And the beauty of them was their motors, for Cadillacs these old girls were the pre Norstar engines, which were a real problem for Cadillac. The 5.7 Liter V8 was a great motor. One day id love to find a mid 90s Fleetwood to ad to my land yacht collection. Whoever buys this old girl is going to fall in love with the ride. These, along with the Town Cars , Cadillacs, and Marquis, were the last of the true road trip cars. 4 big adults ride in absolute comfort (if you have kids, you could fit 4 or 5 on their back seats 😅) and all the luggage fits in the trunk ( or you can rent it out as a mobile studio apartment).

I am a fan of the Buick Roadmasters (1992-1996), and have owned my 1992 Limited Sedan for over 6 years. Even with the high mileage, I believe that the price you propose is within reason. My 1992 only has 93,000 miles, and has been among the most dependable cars that I have ever owned. There are only two things that I truly dislike on my car -- the crushed velour upholster (would have much preferred the leather for comfort/durability), -- and the odd shape of the trunk that makes it difficult to pack particularly when equipped with the optional full-size spare tire. The one thing that shocked me when I first looked at my Roadmaster was its limited front seat legroom even with the driver's sear all of the way back -- my 1985 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Brougham Luxury Sedan has far more legroom for the driver than my 1992 Buick Roadmaster.

The Trunk release button was a security feature. You could lock out access to the trunk and lock the glove box. So when you gave the car to a Valet, they couldnt raid your trunk. At least thats how it worked on my Fleetwood.

I think it's easily worth $2500. I'm in Ontario though and not far from Toronto, so our prices are insane. When my son wants his first car, might be worth a road trip East.

With today's ridiculous car prices, you are in line. But I wouldn't give $500 for a car with 400k miles, highway or not, that is worn out.

I'm in agreement. I think it's probably a fair price Grand scheme of things, but would be hard for me to shell over $500 for a car with over 400k. Now that's not to say that it's not a bad buy for someone who just needs a car. This would be well worth that. It's complete.
