Something about this video editing feels like it was done in 2011 with modern quality... love it. My mom drives an IS300 I'm hoping to take in a year, that thing needs lots of work as well. Hope you can figure it out!

Sweet man welcome to the club. If you’re gonna diy that oil leak definitely make sure you don’t forget about the vvti gear o’ring that goes bad.

i have that same exhaust. if you use the resonator delete they send you it lines up like that. if you use the stock resonator it sits normally

yeah thats the DNA exhaust from ebay or amazon. sold under a lot of generic names. It sounds alright. mine makes a weird whistling sound. does yours? @@CarlTheDrivewayMechanic

definitely not, i just put it on last week and it did it since i got it on. no leaks, no damage. sounds turboed almost @@CarlTheDrivewayMechanic

I just bought mine a month ago same price and I thought mine was bad only thing that was wrong was that mine doesn’t read the fuel level unfortunately 😢

Well, let me just say you got a stellar deal if that's the only issue. They're usually around $5k-6k in a pretty decent condition with a ton of miles still.

@@CarlTheDrivewayMechanic the wheel speed sensor wasn’t working so replaced other than that I tuned it up and put a new timing belt and did a vvti rebuild the car runs fine now I just gotta change out the last remaining fluids and then im good. Mine is at 278k miles and yeah I’ve seen many at that price range manual version go about 10 or 8k near me

@@CarlTheDrivewayMechanic the first day I bought it I found out it was leaking oil really bad I drove it about an hour and 30 mins back home took I honestly don’t know how I made it

Could be something as simple as the fuel level sensor. Pull your fuel pump. Lexus made it super easy to do it from the trunk :).

I'm sorry I paid 600 for mine 2001 missing a bumper it smelled like an ashtray the box of baking soda is working

$600 that's a great deal! Check out the next video, I used a Meguiar's whole car air refresher. You circulate your a/c and set it closed in your car and it will totally remove most of the smell. If that doesn't work keep using that baking soda in the carpets and let it sit and vacuum it out every couple of days. If it's still there Ozone it, and maybe try an extractor! Good luck!
