In today's video, we pay homage to my grandfather in the most meaningful way I thought possible. Papa was 94, literally the strongest person I’ve ever known. From dealing with scoliosis his whole life to a number of other things, he had been through just about everything. No matter what, he never ever complained. The man had more fortitude than anyone I’ve ever met. He was always so happy and go lucky, an inspiration for anyone he met. He loved cars, especially ones with lots of chrome as long term subscribers are fondly aware of. His favorite way to describe things was to say they were a “humdinger”. He lived an incredible life and led several careers, including being a sheriff deputy for a number of years, always serving his community and looking after others. Papa was my best friend through and through. I’m going to miss him so much. It’s comforting to know that at least he’s in a better place and finally back with my grandmother. We love you #PapaSlim ❤️

Aside from being named after my first car that I got in 2004, this channel is all about giving you the opportunity to see cars in-depth and teach you what makes each and every car unique in their own special way. As a long-time automotive enthusiast, I tailor my videos to those who love cars. Over the years, this channel has become well known for my signature in-depth reviews that are designed to be an immersive experience. Also, with project cars, press events and the occasional road trip, I’m always working hard to deliver new and exciting content that’s not only entertaining, but informative. On this channel, you’ll find vehicles from every decade, every price point and every genre, from classics to mainstream and the most elite supercars. There’s literally something for everyone. My goal always has and always will be to have a channel that delivers consistent and quality content time and time again. Of course, the most rewarding thing about all of this is getting to interact with you all, so be sure to check out my social media channels! If all of that sounds good to you, go ahead and hit that subscriber button, you won’t regret it. While you’re here, browse my massive video library and remember, there’s always a lot more where that came from!
All the best,
Kyle

My grandfather died July of 2016 and I was given his 97 Buick lesabre. Nothing too special to anyone else but it sure is to me. Still drive it on the weekends as my toy. It’s a bing cherry color with plenty of chrome, white wall tires with spoked wheels. Great shape for the age and a low mile 3800 to boot. He always wore a blue ball cap and it’s centered in the rear window so he is always with me. Love it to death and this video brought me back to the day I picked it up. Loved the video Kyle.

Yes I thought so to I don't understand why this video has 50 thumbs down, I'm a car guy and the stories behind the car is just as great of the car it's self. He will own that car for many year's and that car will have stories and he can pass it on to his kid's. I built a 1972 GMC Suburban I gave it to my nephew on the condition he can't sell it for profit he has to pass it on to one of his cousin's with the same conditions

Sorry to hear about your Grandpa. Mine was a mentor, teacher, a great guy, and a very dear friend. He was a radio guy who went all the way back to the beginning of electronics, building crystal sets in 1914. He was a WW1 vet, and he had a million stories. He taught me first principles of electricity and electronics, and I can build and service amplifiers thanks to him. An awesome Grandpa is priceless. For someone to have that lasting of a memory says a whole lot about who he was. Sorry for your loss, and congratulations on the car When my grandfather passed, I was left a John Deere tractor(a garden tractor, 112) It was beat down and abused. He had gotten it from his brother, whose sons had run it out of oil and seized the motor. My dad rebuilt the motor in the 80s, and it just mowed the lawn of a family cemetery that the state has since taken over. It lived in a trailer until I got it, and now I've completely restored it. They sell for maybe a couple hundred dollars, but it's priceless to me

This is an awesome car! I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather, he was a wonderful positive influence both in his actual appearances on your channel, but also just in the spirit you carry on with you.

Your video hits me hard. My Grandpa was one of the biggest influences in my life and is the reason why I love old muscle cars so much. He had a 39 Chevy 4 door all of my life that he always wanted to restore, he started to but was never able to with his health. I'm sorry that you lost someone special to you.

My deepest condolences to you and your family on the loss of Papa Slim. I, like you, was very close to my Papa Tony. Lost him years ago, yet still feel his loss everyday. This is a beautiful way to pay tribute to him, with this Ford. He brought you to this car, without a doubt!

I am so sorry to hear about your Grandfather... I have been subscribed to your channel for years, and I still remember fondly how he lit up when you outfitted his car with a dual exhaust setup on his panther platform Mercury. Special moments like that, you don't forget and carry those moments with you as memories. Good thing is that you have that special video archived so you can watch him glow when ever you want. Well wishes and blessings to you and your family in this time of need and hope you have comfort in knowing that your videos and you sharing your Grandfather with the world has touched so many people. Be Blessed :) Long time Subscriber and Friend
