To be honest with you, sometimes it's better to wait untill you meet your new fam members, animals can suprise you with unexpected personality where it seems as if they kinda pick their own names. Corky cute ones to.

We also live on BI. My daughter started naming our chickens after foods. We still need a Maple and Rosemary, so I can donate those names to your future hens.

0:15 this technique is called vegetative propagation where you remove and plant any part of the plant and it grows in less time. But it can also inherit disease frim parent plant

For chicken names I still love what my youngest named hers when she was little, Henny Penny & Ruck Ruck. Henny Penny because she'd sit there & read them the book & Ruck Ruck came about because that's how she talked to them. "Ruuuuck, Ruck Ruck Ruck" & they old come running no matter where they were for cuddles.

I know you already have chickens because I saw them in a video but when my daughter was little she named her favorite Flower. We named one Gabby because she always followed us talking up a storm. The rest I named after chicken dishes because after they stopped laying they we gonna be out dinner. But I guess we grew too attached because they all lived out their lives.

You can name your chickens Henry or Henriatta... but I agree with the other commenter, naming them when they finally arrived. Since they do have character that will make you name them based on it

Please make sure your water purification system is in good working order and completely up to the task of cleaning that water. I often got sick from catchment water as a kid, and it sucked each time.
