Losing a unit to auction really hurts. Especially when it was unavoidable. Watching these videos kinda brings back that pain.........but I can't stop watching. At least you try to return the personal items to family. Unfortunately the folks who got mine didn't. Love your channel!

Tip for anyone buying or taking a free used mattress... go to your hardware store and buy a bag of diatomatious earth (dirt with ground up seashells) sprinkle the dirt on all surfaces of the mattress and wrap the mattress in plastic, duct tape any seams. Allow the mattress to sit for 2 weeks. Then open and remove plastic and vacuum well. This way, you are guaranteed to have rid the mattress of any possible bedbugs from the previous owner. Believe me, some of my relatives have had this problem. It's either this method or put the mattress in the garage and heat the garage to 130 degrees for 2 hrs. I think the dirt route would be my preference though.

I recently got rid of a mattress for free -I actually cut into the mattress, ripped off all the material and foam, bagged it and put it out for my regular trash, then posted the metal springs for free on facebook marketplace and it was gone within 24 hrs. Believe it or not, people use the springs for gardening! I only knew because of pinterest lol I guess the little springs kind of act like tomato cages. I am pretty sure that is what the lady wanted them for. I'm sure you might not be able to do that with all mattresses and you must be careful doing it. I didn't get a scratch but I just wouldn't want anyone else to

Wade. Invest in a small,folding table to set your boxes on to be examined. You are straining your back from box on high to ground, lift rotate.

I’m sure you’ve already found out that that blue Danube China it’s worth a lot of money. Please be more careful you’re throwing things in those boxes and I’m just scared to death you’re going to break something. I'd love to see all the pottery and Christmas stuff in a video. I love that Lind of stuff. The glass flowers are beautiful! Would love to see them all unwrapped and displayed some how. Even if they were just set out on a table or put in the vases.

Mikasa dishes are usually bought at higher end stores...Dont quote me on that . The Tahari dress as well. The pottery bowl and those pieces may be a chime .It was lovely .Blue Danube is an older pattern of china.I recall my grandma having some .

What i do with mattresses , is cut along the thin part right around (the crust of a piece of bread ) with an angle grinder cut off wheel (note: do out side and have water hose ready) . once you have gone all the way around the mattress , pull on the material / Fabric and it will separate from the box metal frame (Do both sides ) place the fabric part in the your bin and , then the steel frame can be recycled . saves dump fees

You strike me as a loving family man. I imagine it would be hard sometimes to think about the people whose belongings you purchase, and the hardships they must be going through. I'm interested in buying units, but I don't know how well I would deal with those emotions. Do you have any tips on how you handle those feelings. Also, have you ever been contacted by someone who's unit you bought and watched you go through it? I imagine that would be particularly difficult.

So happy mom is home an doing well! Now I'm gonna bust your chops. When moving,loading truck,good stuff in first,last minute goes in last. Unloading in storage,last minute goes in first,good stuff is front. Exceptions if you have smart people an put big furniture in back. 🤗

They should never be lain on its side. The lubrication system works so you never need to oil the machine, but if they get upside down or on its side, the oil seals will leak and start dripping into the bowl as it runs. Definitely turn it on and run it for a while to see if it leaks.

You know, if you double tap your screen it will advance the video by 10 seconds. Multiple taps will advance it even more. 20 seconds or 30 seconds of not wasting data on your dorky stuff.

I loved meeting you the other night.I accidentally bought 4 tickets when only 2 people were bowling but it is what it is. But I'm very glad I was able to meet you.Im getting older & not that great on computers , I still dont know how I ended up with buying 4 when it was for only 2 bowlers.oh well .Id go again but I would have my daughters do the tickets 😒

$410 Some mattresses will actually sell pretty well. Regarding a whole house being in storage.. loses job ..loses house.. moves in with relatives.. no room for items.. no money to pay storage bill.. thus the unit comes up for auction. Other possibility. One member of the house gets put in jail and the family spends all their money to try and get a good lawyer for the upcoming trial.

Happy to see your gloves, your knife, and Ashley. So happy to hear that mom is now better and will be back with us, although I've loved having Ashley and the boys with you. What an amazing amount of goods that were carefully packed. I have a piece of Bristol Blue cobalt glass and it's a very dense colour, I can't see through it plus it's heavy. There's a lot of English bone china too, it's not cheap at all. All in all I think you will get your money back, how much did you pay Wade, you never said. The thing with the glass bottom that you thought might be for oil, I think it is used for whiskey. You put whiskey in the bottom and then you pump it into glasses. At one time there would have been little glasses that sat on the tray. My folks had one - it was actually pretty cool!

Chris Gravely that’s would be giving the games away to let people know how’s much he pay for each unit wouldn’t it? As some of the things he pay can worth load more than he paid for. It’s a chance you takes just like anything in life and seem like he can make a comfortable living too! But to be doing that he is also have some kind of code of conduct, as I heard that some personal bits he was trying to returned back to the rightful owner. So that’s would be more interesting to know if that ever happened and successful etc.

This is the first storage unit that for some reason has made me sad. 😢 I am thinking that the one box with the toys and the plush that was in the air tight bag were memories of a child that passed away. Idk why I feel this way, but it's a feeling in my spirit. 😥 I really hope I'm wrong... Other than that, it's a good unit.
