I am currently in the process of doing a motor swap from a 17 foot ski boat to a 21 ft Bass Cat. I'm in probably $600 so far.. I sent an email months ago, but never heard anything. That's a sweet boat man! Right on..

If you do get an ATV, definitely get a Honda. You just can’t kill them. They may not have as high horsepower as a Polaris, but they are so much more reliable.

I would recommend a Honda Rubicon 500 for what you need it to do it is worth the money you can also get either automatic footshift or electric shift

Get a Honda Rancher 1000 you may think a 1000 is big but is like the 4 wheeler at bass pro you were looking at a Honda 1000 is the same size and Honda has a automatic push button transmission and 4 wheel drive

I have a 1436 topper. I put a casting deck on it, carpet though out it and a trolling motor up front. I love it for the small interstate lakes in Nebraska. I would highly recommend it for people on a budget.

I have a 15 foot G3 Jon boat v bottom with a 20 horse power yamaha on it and a 50 pound thrust trolling motor and it is the perfect boat to be honest! I can run 27 MPH in it by my self with all my gear which is 9 rods, 2 duffle bags full of gear, a cooler, and the gas for it, it runs 24 MPH with my stuff and another person and their stuff, and I am pretty big as well, 6’4” and 245 pounds

That little Jon boat, or as we call them, punts, are basically what everyone here in Australia uses. Even the top fishermen. You just can't go wrong with them.

12ft is the perfect size! It’s what I use to hop around ponds. I’m anxious to see what you do with it. All I added was seat slide rails so I can slide my seats off when I store it. Get a 55# thrust motor and you’ll be good to go.

Honda 500 rancher, it will fly as fast as you need. And they are a beast pulling hares, turn plows, bush hogs, and anything else you need. I’ve hit 60 on mine and let go because the road started to get super curvy.

I imagine the reason he said not to get the treated plywood is due to weight. Also, if you are going to glue the carpet down it make act funny. I loved converting my cheap 14ft flatbottom into a tinyboat, so much fun.
