I Bought a "Refurbished" NES From eBay - I Wasn't Impressed - Extended Version - I bought this NES from a refurbisher on eBay for $120, and we're about to see how good of a job they did with cleaning and repairing. Will there be anything broken or missing, and will it boot up on the first try? Let's see if this refurbished NES is worth the price!

Saying "it's not a big deal" is really off the mark. For that level of investment and the thorough cleaning that's required, it certainly is a big deal to me. Someone's definitely going to lose their good feedback and learn to do better than using just a paper towel and cleaning supplies from the dollar store. I run a repair shop myself, and when I change thermal paste on a PlayStation or repair a controller, I do a complete cleanup, washing every part that can be safely washed with soap and water. By the way, I love these videos! Keep up the great work!

I would have given the console review either a 2 or 3 depending wether or not they showed proof the console was chippied on the outside before your purchase. The packaging was subpar at best, and they definitely should have checked the pin connection with the issues of the blinking light. I forgot there a few screws were missing from the board, too.

What is so hard about these companies understanding what is expected from a "refurbished" console? It's actually infuriating. When people buy refurbed, they should 100% be able to take it home, plug it in, and have it work like new.

@EnkinduGamer

Sincerely, when I read the word, "refurbished" I expect that to be in, "like new" condition. Meaning pristine and thoroughly cleaned and all caps replaced, with certified parts (72 PIN connector for example). Basically everything except for the logic board. You can't trust anybody these days. The scratches and faded front text is unacceptable for a refubished device. That is not, "Like New" which is what refurbsihed means. You need to be a TronicsFix guy or a tinkerer like MyMateVince these days. I am considering offering my skills to this craft. We would all provide quality products. Let's start the group The Refurb Massive! It's a working title.

why did they put "working condition" its like they put "give me a negative feedback" if they are going to restore a console AND list it as "IN WORKING CONDITION" u would thing they would test it to make sure it meets that minimum requirement. sellers that do that give ebay a bad name and im glad that this seller got the negative feedback that they deserved. Great video. next go to a good will and see if u can find a nes there for you to restore.
