I think it just needs some chrome wheels, chrome bumper, chrome cab lights, chrome front grill, chrome studs, chrome mirrors, chrome exhaust stacks, chrome rack on the rear, chrome mud flaps, chrome dice, a chrome plated power washer to wash the chrome with, two or three videos of new sponsors and an extordinary amount of adverts inbetween sponser plugs, then a video of stripping off bits where a power wrench can reach before parking it next to the first one and asking for a vote if he should buy a thrid cab over which just needs some chrome wheels, chrome bumper................

That truck should have a headlight dimmer switch on the floor, try clicking it a few times with the switch on , they corrode up sometimes.

The term "BUCK SERGEANT refers to the rank of SERGEANT . There are other rank of SERGEANT as well. Such as First Sergeant, Sergeant first class Sergeant Major.

I like that too. I am the last of that generation, my education record has me written as sergeant, and I got called a senior airman. I was a crew chief. Not sure where they used this truck, but air force hauled more than missiles. we hauled everything. that truck may have delivered all kinds of stuff.

The headlight problem is most likely the floor mounted dimmer switch, plug a new one in and see if they work before digging any further.They used to be cheap and usually that is where headlight problems started..

@Kyle Dean Yep, in the original video of the air force truck it shows water standing on the dashboard ! so there is rot somewhere in the top of the cab and now no lights & not shifting & bad tires & wheels ( should have called a local mobile tire store to change them all out before they even moved it ! ) . Watching this video of picking up this truck reminds me of when I was a kid. My dad one’d used truck dealership. I worked for him from 16-20 hrs old. Before I got my drivers license I would go out as a helper with our heavy duty tow truck driver to pick up trucks he had bought. As soon as I got my license I started gong out on my own. Back the I didn’t need a CDL. It didn’t come in to effect in NJ until 1978.i would sometimes meet up with my dads partners driver “Buck” and our driver “Ricky” and we would sometimes move as many as 5-6 trucks at a time when they had bought fleets. I look back on how much JUNK I drove over3-400 miles at a clip and I am amazed that I made it. Anyway babbling on. Just reminiscing watching this. Have a great day and good luck Bruce,

Bruce, keep in mind, that old 2-cycle requires straight-weight oil, multi-weight is NO BUENO.....as in straight 30W or 40W.

I know that was a bit of a big stuff up but nothing happened to the motor and it didn’t overheat so all good. Just get a board, two c-clamps, and two mudflaps. Screw the flaps to the board and clamp the board to the frame. And yea, I agree about a plate. Should have a temp tag. All it's gonna take is a DOT officer or a state trooper to pull him over and he's going to get bent over the fuel tank.

I was in the Air Force and worked in the Missile Field and our missile carriers did not look like that. Plus all air force vehicles were painted that crappy dark blue with yellow print....Not sure what you have there.

Many states require that lights are on whenever the wipers are in use. In fact some manufacturers now have automatic lights on when the wipers are switched on. Good luck if you run into rain on the way home.

Something that has meaning to me besides the Air Force, it also was one of my favorite teachers who passed away license plate on his Corvette, he was one of the few just honorary Thunderbird members I don't believe he ever served I could be wrong, but he took professional-quality photographs of the planes in action, he even new one of the captains of the Squadron so well, he flew his little Cessna or Piper Cub or whatever into our local little airport in small town Aledo Illinois to come talk to are high school one day. Hopefully the engine,trans,and wiring is OK. Look like mos of the first cabinet will be used on this for sure,I would have had it transported as most bought unseen old base/ military vehicles have issues when bought in radiator. Bout other then that looks like a decent truck as long as no surprise come up

Yep. you was 3 miles from a Truck tire shop on the other side of the river. Lol. B&C tire on East Broad street. Tires and wheels. Also Radiator shop 1 mile way from where you passed the car stealership on highway 77.

The white cabover looks much better both power wise and interiorwise. At least with the white one you'll have a 0 mile motor and all the bugs worked out. That truck looks like more work lol

its a Detroit on springs... hes thinking the right way now... less hoses and wires to maintain and worry about to longer and cheaper it is to keep it going. just make sure shes leaking oil cause she doesnt have oil if she isnt leaking hahahaha

Aluminum with a steel lockring. Aluminum and steel don't get along. May have the white powder of death under that lockring, after many years.

@Jt likes Butts Wanker Even funnier is how Bruce talked it up to his "fans". He literally pointed out everything bad about the truck he abandoned. Talked so highly about this truck and showed pictures at perfect angles to make it look pristine. Funniest part, It has all the same negatives that he described about the other truck he gave up on to get this one. I voted to restore the truck he had started already. He'll have a vote to get rid of this one within a month. Or it will sit in the background while he starts and stops the next bazillion projects. I'm still waiting for the diesel swapped mustang....................... "crickets" This is the car accident that is "Bruise" Wilson. Everyone loves a good car wreck.

My dad had a F700 when I was a kid. We hauled cross ties from Tennessee up into Kentucky. Some of my best memories. I loved that truck. I hope you find one👍

Looks like the one I drove while in the USAF. The paint job was Air Force blue. No radio came with it. The USAF added a radio so we could talk to the control center.

Hey Bruce That stop leak will clog the heater core. Be sure to check that out after awhile. Not that you need heat down south.

hi Bruce, thanks for the video! I think you have a lot of work on this one, maybe not as much like the International, because it's a simpler machine, but work nonetheless. I think it would have been a better idea to prep the blue cab for the long haul, finishing the repairs on the trailer and make the roadtrip to get this truck hauled rather than drive it home by itself, so much risk of something going very wrong in the middle of nowhere, a couple of weeks to get things done on the blue cab and the trailer would have been better in my opinion. Well, you already took the decision, so keep your head cool, have safe trip home!

You don't have to have a CDL if you are not using it for commercial use.

I thought it was in better shape then that. Can’t believe your gonna drive it home now that you see how bad it is. If you're driving a truck, combination vehicle (truck and trailer), or a semi tractor within the state you farm, you don't need a CDL. ... However, if you go outside of the 150-mile range into another state, then you will need a CDL. You also need a CDL if you drive a truck for hire
